Technation - requirements for letters of recommendation?

I have a question about the 3 letters of recommendation required by Technation. Does a computer science professor in a UK university counts as a "senior member of an established organisation in the digital technology sector"? Or does the organisation have to be a company? And does it is have to be a UK company?

Three letters of recommendation signed by three different senior members of different established organisations in the digital technology sector.

It doesn't have to be a company. A professor in a university can also be a good fit.
