Good luck HSMP.. i think your applications will be looked into from monday.. we will look for flow of Good news from all on this thread soon..
Thanks mate, I will keep you guys informed! Good Luck to you all.
Situation is soo grim/desprate that even hearing results of anybody who got approval n applied in Jan 09 from UK would be really releaving.. LOL!! i know we shd not expect till 6weeks after applying but..

Cases applied outside UK are given approvals/results in 3-4weeks time and nothing is moving here at all?

or may be i started feeling the heat.. which i shd not.. Lol!!

Good luck friends...

Absolutely, Ramesh. It's so nerve wracking having to wait, especially when overseas applications are all being decided much sooner. I don't think they'll even be considering our applications for another 2 weeks or so...unless they (by some miracle) manage to clear a load of applications this week.

You are right, these days Non-JR extensions seem to be taking not anything less than 6 weeks. This wait turns even more painful when you think of your leave to remain expiring. Mine already expired last week :!:

I don't know the reason but JR applications are being decided pretty quickly!!

I am hoping to hear something this week - I will be highly disappointed if I don't hear anything.

Good Luck to you all and keep watching the space!

hsmp28122006, did you try to call HO to find out your status?

I haven't tried calling them since 6 weeks is not over yet and I am sure they are rude enough to not tell *anything* about applications until 6 weeks have elapsed. Any tricks while calling them?

appl sent 15 th Jan. Ref letter dated 19th.
I have to attend a science conference in india and have to leave UK on the 25 th Feb and have communicated recently to HO and got a supporting letter from employer as well.

called sheffield office 0114 2072966. They said a decision has been made and that the application is with the last team that handles dispatch etc. They will not say if the decision is Yes or No.

I am feeling all the anxiety now ...

Guys

i have applied for Tier 1 on 11/2/09 from Bangalore VFS.

I had applied for student visa to USA in 2002 and it was rejected. I have mentioned about it. with the reasons for rejection. But, I did not have the reference number. So, will that be a problem??

I also have a B1 visa to USA now. But, there is no option to enter that.

Can any one of you guys share your experience on this.

online applications and appointments

Post by HSMPChile » Thu Feb 12, 2009 4:55 pm

Hello,

I have a few questions regarding online applications and I would really appreciate your help on this matter.

1. After completing the appl. Did you have to ask for an appointment to hand in your docs at the embassy (or BHC)?

2. If yes, how later after doing the online appl. did you have to go and bring the docs in and get your biometrics taken, etc?

3. When you say 'Submitted', does that refer to the online submission?
4. When you say 'Delivered', does that refer to the physical submission?

Please help :(

Best regards

HC

I called HO this morning and the lady said "Your case is under consideration". What does it mean? Should I expect the outcome soon?!
