Just Received My Ref. No

Post by touchsensor » Tue Jan 08, 2008 4:27 pm

Hi everyone,

I just received my HSMP Ref no. It seems like the number has run alot from Ranjanx. My ref no is 2437**. Do you think it is sequential? Did >300 people applied between 24/12/07-31/12/07?

Touchsensor, it might be sequential and shared across different categories of applications , besides HSMP i.e.
What might help us is if we get the ref no for people on 17th and 19th. This should tell us a rough average no that moves within a day, for HSMP.

My Ref

Post by touchsensor » Tue Jan 08, 2008 4:54 pm

My payment was deducted on 31/12/07.

sc- it is good to give four digits instead of two so that it can be used for some kind of tracing...mine is 2437**.

Look at SC, It should have been done by this time for him, Currently ther are working on 17 Dec application, If that is the case, whats happening to his application where is it now?... By looking at this message, I m bit worried.....

It is very abstract to know whats going on. If the time line has passed than the automated message. what should we do????

I feel the automated message is for the payments and applications receive by HO during that period anddoes not mean its actually passed to the case workers.
I know another guy who has posted around 5th - 15th dec and waiting for decison.

tsp , I guess "working on 17th Dec" does not mean they have cleared all cases befoe that. You are asking "what shall we do" as if you have a choice besides waiting ??

Hi,
there are 2 different departments
1) where the application is received and payment is deducted
2) Case worker.

they are working on 17th DEc applications mean they will acknowledge the application and deduct payment and then start passing it to case woker.
So application received by them during that period they have stated deploying it to the Case workers and that also mean that they havent completed the application from before.

Ranjan,

Good post, waiting is the biggest difficulty, but no other option. How long one can wait? Is that anyone who had called up and asking possible date to get the decsion.. whats the next process.

Doesn't make sense. We have people (including me) whose payments have been debited much after 17th Dec and have Reference number.

Also, in context of how long it would take to get to mine, the help desk lady had mentioned that we are working on 17th Dec (early morning today)

SC, please give atleast four digits of your ref number to enable some educated guess.

bit of conflict over here, Normally payment will be done with in a day or two.. You may be right, they may start to deploy it to the case worker... and also means that previous dated applications are not yet completed.

payments have been deducted within a day or for some of them within a week...this is all because of holiday period. they have to work through thelot applications and as i said earlier december things move very slowly.

Hi NvNv,

You may ask this question in the common area. I think people are waiting for HSMP Approval in this section not knowing about it.

Mine is in-country application

Sent to HO by RoyalMail special Delivery: 15th Dec
Reached HO: 17th Dec (tracked using RoyalMail website)
Payment deducted: 18th Dec (Called the Credit Card customer service and found this out)

Got Ref Number by Phone: 20th Dec

Decision: Awaiting....

I called the HO in between just once, I think it was on 27th Dec. I asked her if she can tell me if they had made a decision, she said not yet. She also asked me to call back only if 12 weeks have gone by.....

If we could align Chadra case, You can expect the descision documents by Tomm morning or Day after Tomm morning..

Have you got any mail about, whether the decision has been made or not?

I think, if it is in country application, they have not ven bother about decision made mail and ref number until unless, if there is any conflict like address change etc...

That's the problem TSP, you can't really correlate one status with another, if that were to be the case, then SC must have got his documents by now.....

But you are right about them not emailing me, I guess it's because mine is a UK application......I've not received a single email even though I keep clicking the Refresh button in my mail client....hoping against hope to receive a status email from them...In fact I m checking the Junk and SPAM folders as well just in case their email went off into one of these but to no avail.....

my ref no

Post by chandra28 » Wed Jan 09, 2008 3:15 am

hi like i posted bfr my applcn reached them on 17th and on 19th i got this mail
Dear Miss C

Re: Chandralekha - India - my dob

We received your application on the 17th December 2007 and your HSMP
ref.number is 2419--

Then on Monday I got another mail from my caseworker informing me that she had had taken a decision and that i could arrange for a courier
She quoted the same ref no as the one given in the earlier mail.

I mailed her back after arranging courier and she acknowledged it

Yesterday she mailed me again and told me that the courier people had collected it.
Real sweet of her

Anyway guys dont worry too much, bcos of the holiday period the processing time may have reduced somewhat

Hope my post helps
