need your opinion

Post by kkashif » Wed Dec 19, 2007 5:12 pm

hi guys

i am from pakistan and writing frist time in this forum i need your opinion. i have sent my case to home office since two week. i want to ask three things.

1. is it necessary to attach job match search when we applied for EC.
2. when normally they do verification, before EC or after applying EC.
3. which i am worried most, is it necessary that your bank statement must showing your salary amount when we apply for EC at BHC islamabad.

i need your help.

Just curious..going through this thread,it appears that the time from application to HSMP approval to EC is considerably longer for applicants from Pakistan as opposed to countries like India. Is this also reflected in the way Pakistanis are received by employers in the UK i.e. do they find it more difficult to find well paid employment compared to Indians?

kkashif and waseem,

Did you people have received reference number against your application? Did you mentioned your email address in your app?

I will suggest you to call Home Office and inquire about your application status.... There can be a chance that your application would have been processed and dispatched to your given address through "Royal Mail".

@Waseem

Regarding EC.... I think you **MUST** provide comprehensive information why SALARY is not being transferred to your account... What I experience, they atleast verify following things:

1. Your Employer Registration with SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan) and check whether your company is paying TAX or not.

2. Your employment under your emplyer (normally by calling, but may visit office as well)

3. Your bank statement (especially the balance) and they do not check the current bank statement but also check some balance of 4~5 months back... picked randomly... I am not too sure about this ... But with my EC, upon documents receiving, there was a bank verification page in which they verified current balance and balance of 4 months back....

4. Your NTN verificaiton from CBR (either from CBR office or from CBR website)

Let me know if this information is not helpful for you...

Mistake in EC Application

Post by immaad » Tue Jan 01, 2008 8:51 pm

I just realized that I made a mistake in my EC application.

Along with other email communications with recruiters, I also attached an interview confirmation and status email which was based in Isle of Man. And I recently got to know that HSMP is not valid for Isle of Man. Is that a problem? The recruiter told me that HSMP is valid in IoM.

Is there anything which I can do to correct it?

^ dont worry about that. Your visa wont be rejected because of that reason. If you are confident other things are alright then you should be able to get it stamped.

ITR with EC

Post by uzmagha » Fri Jan 04, 2008 4:39 am

Salam to all,

I am planning to apply for visa in mid of january, need you help in following:

1. Is ITR necessary for EC (keeping in mind its not mentioned in requirements to attach). any experience of EC clearance w/o ITR.
2. Secondary job salary is must to appear in your bank account?

I will appreciate seniors if they can help me regarding this.

Thanks to all.

Regards,
Uzma.

^ Uzma, as far my knwoledge is concerned

1) ITR is not necessary for EC (if you didnt submit it with HSMP docs)
2) your job salary in your bank account is NOT a MUST by any means.

Other more knowledgable people can either confirm or correct what I said.

Good luck. I myself am gonna apply in mid jan.

hi

in my opinion. ITR is not must if you did not attched it with your hsmp as proof of earnings but there is no risk to attach it with EC application. i think we should provide all documents that we have claimed in hsmp.

2. your job salary is not must show in your account but i really heard few cases now a days being rejected just because of this reason. you can do one thing that you should explain logically in EC cover letter about this. so that case worker should have something logically from your side before making any assumption.

senior members can give you expert advice.
