My friend' EC has been approved. It was applied on 16 Oct from Lahore. There was no verification call to employer. I think bank account in HSBC, Lahore was the most credible aspect wherein salary of 12 months was credited and maintenance funds were gradully accumulated.

ECO can make a new objection when one reapply. It is considered a new application and not merely revision of a particular point.
Pakistani fallows should avoid reapplying as one may end up with a new objection which may be difficult to dislodge.
No doubt appeal would take more time but result would be better and time can be curtailed by;
- FILING APPEAL AT THE EARLIEST OF 28 DAYS
- SENDING APPEAL DIRECTLY TO AIT INSTEAD OF BHC.
Hi
As I appealed at AIT when my EC was rejected. Now I received through my representative the court determination stating that my appeal is allowed. I do not know the process and the time it may take.My representaive is saying that it may take 2 more months for the EC. can some one help me about the time frame and docomantation.
case was heard on 24th of october and the determination issued on 31st of october I was informed on 3rd november and determination sent to me on fax.
Thanks

Hi All.

I have today applied for an administrative review against my application. I have couriered my application today to BHC Islamabad. I have heard that it normally takes a complete month for the admin review to be completed. Has anyone on this forum applied for Admin Review from Pakistan? If yes what was the response.

Please pray for me. Best of luck to all specially laraib.

Thanks

Is admin review just another term used for appeal?

I sibmitted appeal to BHC for my wife's dependent visa refusal 4 weeks ago but not reply yet.

I do not think both are same. As i was not given the right to appeal in my entry clearance refusal letter.

TB Screening information

Post by abdik1980 » Wed Nov 19, 2008 1:24 pm

Asalam-u-Alaikum All,

Is there anyone who can explain about TB Screening. What is the procedure of screening and how much will they charge me? I am planning to apply in Jan, 09. When should I apply for TB Screening and from where? Thanks

Administrative review and appeal are two very different concept. Earlier under HSMP there were two stages.First approval by Home Office and second entry clearance/visa by BHC. Review was provided against refusal by home office and appeal against refusal of visa.
Under Tier 1 both stages have been combined and now BHC decides that one qualify and issue visa. Now only review is available and full right of appeal has not been given. Limited right of appeal is given and its scope is very restricted with grounds of discrimination and human rights.
Appeal is with an independent UK judicial set up called Immigration & Asylum Tribunal whereas review is by the same authority and has very limited scope.

For Laraib

Appeal decision is dated 30 October 2008 and Home Office has 28 days to file appeal before high court. Invariably appeal is not filed in your type of cases. After 28 days you can make an appointment with VAC to submit your passport along with copy of appellate order.

I am happy that you know about the process. i will do as you told me. Actually I am surprised with the decision because when my case was so clear it was rejected and now appeal is allowed. So strange and unbeleivable.......
thanks with your help.

Hi All,

I'm living in UK on HSMP visa and I recently got married and wish to apply my wifes visa as HSMP DEPENDANT. In support of her application I've attached the following documentation:

· Confirmation of Appointment and Job offer letter from my current employer.
· Employment letter from my company that I’m permanent employee for them.
· Copy of my passport and visa.
· Copy of HSMP approval letter.
· Original last three months pay slips.
· Tenancy agreement for six months and a letter from my new landlord authorizing her stay at 109 The Gatehaus, Leeds Road, BRADFORD, West Yorkshire, BD1 5BQ.
o Please note that my tenancy at the above address will be starting on 20th December 2008 (Tenancy start date shown on attached tenancy agreement) this is because I’m currently living at Apartment 404, Landmark House, 11 Broadway, BRADFORD, West Yorkshire, BD1 1JB and my tenancy at this address will be finishing on 19th December 2008.
o I’ve also attached the tenancy reference letter from my existing landlord.
· Eight months and twenty days bank statements are shown from two different accounts covering period from 31st March 2008 to 20th November 2008 with balance altogether over £2100 pounds.
o Please note that I have shown my bank statements from two different accounts the first account i.e. the HSBC Regular Saver account. This accounts account number is XXXX867 and sort code is XX-XX-XX and it is covering me from 31st March 2008 to 1st September 2008 and the balance in this account for this period is always over £2100. On 1st of September I’ve closed this account and transferred all the funds from this account to my HSBC current account this current account bank account number is XXXX769 and its Sort Code is XX-XX-XX. This current account is covering me from 1st September 2008 to 20th November 2008 and the balance in this account is always over £3250.
o So all together I have shown my recent banks statements for the last 8 months and 20 days.
· Emirate Airlines e-tickets for my wife and myself.
· Our wedding ceremony pictures and video.
· Our original marriage certificate with its English translation.
· Western Union money transfer and Gifts receipts.

Can some one please comment if I have missed any thing. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP!

Hi All,

Just to let you know that my wife's applied for HSMP Dependant visa under old rules on 28/11/08. Since then the status on the Gerry track passport link is showing its "Application Forwarded to Islamabad OC on 28 Nov 2008". I phoned Gerry's office in the morning and they told me its in process with BHC. I have then emailed the BHC and got the following replied:

------------
Dear Sir
Our ref : 1587XXX

Thank you for your email.

Following your enquiry this is to inform that authorisation to issue the visa has been granted and visa printing process will take another few day's time.

Passport will then be despatched to Gerry's office for collection . Kindly wait to be contacted by their office.

Regards,

Hi Adnan,

Thanks,

I meant to say that my wife’s applied as HSMP dependant not as a Tier 1 dependant because I've got HSMP visa which was approved last year November. I have used my UK HSBC bank statement as proof of funds and 7 days rule doesn’t apply to me. You need to fill the form VAF10 correct for the both type of dependant visas. If you got any more question please feel free to contact me on my email alimcitp@live.co.uk or alternatively we can chat on MSN on the weekend.

Hello everyone.

This thread has been quite for a long time now. Have people stopped applying or has everyone on this thread got the required visa :)

Well I will be applying again on 13th of January (under HSMP transitional arrangements) as my previous ec application was rejected. Lets hope for the best. Please do keep posting your updates here.

[quote="softlogic20"]Best of Lock Jawad Bahi,
INSHALLAh every thing will go smooth and i am quite confident INSHALLAH you will get it.
i will also apply for HSMP this week INS. i have a problem regarding birth certificate, as HO require a birth certificate for age proof (i dont have a driving licence), when i born in 82 hospital has not issuede any birth certificate(to my surprise they are not issueing it now as well to new born kids). now i ask them to issue me one from my home district hospital. as place of birth on my passporst is mentioned as my home district. i think i MUST get it from the hospital in my home district.
please suggest me what you think in this regard, if place of birth on passport and hopital issuing birth certificate should match?

Thanks and Best regards,[/quote

No, they could be different, because due to advance in science, nowadays its possible for one person to be born in two separate places at the same time.

GOOD to c applicants from pakistan, sharing their experiences here. I recently joind this forum and initially din't c anything like this, so made my own 2-3 threads, for applicants from pakistan. I was quite surprised to c that, pakistanis are asusual so lazy in response, as I am not getting replies there  Can you people, come there (search thread by author name (go2zeeshan2004), got 2-3 threads) and start postings and updating applicants.

I have applied for Tier1 (G) on 16th Dec'08 from khi-pk, and still waiting for reply

GOOD LUCK to everyone and hope to c u guys in my newly created threads.
