As you all may know my EC was rejected and appeal allowed on 31st October, I was waiting for the BHC call letter from the last three months. Finally I received it, It is written to submit five thinks !. call letter of BHC, 2.passport, 3. TB test 4. intended date of travel, and 5. Copy of HSMP approval letter.
the HSMP approval letter is expired as it was valid for only six months. Now i am confused wheither to reprint it and if yes it may take three more months as usually they take this much time. A friend from India's EC was allowed with the expired HSMP letterafter allowed appeal. Do you know the same apply in Pakistan or not. Can you people guide me in my future action.
It will be highly appreciated if someone can help me. I have taken appointment of 19th for submission of passport and 13th for TB test.
Thanks
Laraib

Hi Laraib,

If someone from India was allowed to appeal with expired letter then it should be okay for you to apply as well. To be on safe side, It would be better to contact BHC and confirm it from them.

Tier 1 dependent visa submitted

Post by hjafary » Wed Feb 25, 2009 1:27 am

My wife submitted Tier 1 dependent visa on 20th Feb 2009 at the Lahore VAC

The status on https://www.vfsglobal.org/ApplicantStatus.aspx is 'Invalid search' (so may be it hasn't been logged yet)

The track your passport on ukvacpk.com link does not work.

Any others who applied around the same time?

I am new here....and am really worried....my HSMP approval letter has the date of 20th september, and so is expiring on 20th march....i had no idea that VAC (Karachi Pakistan) would give me an appointment date too far, i got of 17th march....just 3 days before my letter is expiring ....now my questions are :

1. will my case be accepted as of 17 th march, or the date which is considered is the one when the british embasssy receives the application.

2. is the news correct that there are agents outside fedex who cd help me in getting an urgent appointment, with some added charges...

3. If VAC , say, finds some document missing, and asks me to refurbish, wd they consider my case of 17 march, coz if they give me a later date, my case will expire, and i wont be eligible to apply thereafter.

I dont know where was i sleeping....cursing myself at the moment...

Somebody plz reply...i'll be too grateful !

Best Regards to all fellow forum members.

hats,
The date you'll submit documents to vac will be considered, also u'll receive submission slip
I guess that is true,,have you asked on phone for urgent appointment with some extra charges,,?otherwise go to vac tomorrow without appointment and try to enter,,i've seen this in lahore
Your date will remain that of 17th, try to complete all documents esp TB test cert.
As an alternative try vac of lahore or isd to get an early date,
Regards.

Hi,

I am in UK under old HSMP rules since August 2005. My passport is endorsed with 'RESIDENCE PERMIT' till August 2010. Never been on TIER 1 general or points baased system. Now to apply for my wife's dependent visa.

Do I have to show maintenance funds?

I tried to get information from local visa application center and they said no need to show funds but still asking her to fill VAF 10 which is for PBS Tier 1.

If she fills this form there is specific question about maintenance funds. Can you please suggest how to answer this question?

I desperately need help as worry of being rejected due to no maintenance funds evidences is stopping us to make application. Has anyone here been in similar situation? Any help will be appreciated.
