Any Tier-1 (General) new applicants??

Hi (PC, eni_guy) guys my frn call today BIA cc, one lady told him that his case was assinged to CW on 9 July, when my frnd applied on 30 may.

it has taken his application to reach in CW hands more than a month. can u imagine this?

PC, eni_guy:- what was in yours case, as you both are near to my frn applied date. i think you guys knew about when was yours case assing to CW.

I was told that my case was given to the case worker on 16th July and still under consideration.

I called CC and was told the same thing -'UT has been received but no decision yet...still with case worker'.

It's been 12 weeks now!

I am just turning impatient and nervous..dunno wat these guys r upto?

Hi guys,

I submitted my application today at the VFS Mumbai North office.
Believe me the lady processing my application was dumb.
I had to track every word she wrote. At once point she wrote my bank balance as around 50K whereas i had more than 3L.

There was hardly any queue at the centre. Did not feel the need to take an appointment. Reach at 8:00 a.m. and you will be done in an hour(Thanks to the dumb staff)

Anyways.. my document list:

Age: Passport
Education: Degree Certificate (My degree was in NARIC database)
Previous Earnings:
1. Payslips of 12 months signed and stamped by the Payroll guy (since we get payslips in pdf format.)
2. 12 months bank statements from ICICI with salary credits highlighted
English Language: IELTS scorecard (score of 8)
Maintenance of Funds:
1. Last 3 months bank statements separate from the ones for earnings. The minimum balance highlighted.
2. Letter from bank stating the minimum balance in the last 3 months.

Additional documents:
1. Company offer/increment letter.
2. Letter from a friend in UK agreeing to accomodate me in the UK.
3. Printout of the points calculator result.

i managed to talk to HO regarding my application(WP->Tier1) submitted on 7th July...the guy took my refrence number and told that it is passed on to the CW and is under consideration!!!

i guess the best time to call HO is around 9:30AM as the call got connected within 1 minute...

Any updates ???????????

hello did u sent an urgent request because i submitted on the 5 received on 6 july but they said i have not been assigned to case worker yet

my friend spoke to HO and was told that her UT request has been accepted but its still not assigned to CW. They also said the r processing applic recd till 30th June

Applied on 1 July, my application is with CW from last week. No UT.

applied on 23rd june and my application is not even with case worker.God knows what is going in HO

Hi i applied my Tier 1 on July 15. Do any body know whci date applications are being processed by CW.

i would also like to mention that after looking at my friends case they told the dates when the urgent treatment recieved and also the date of travel. she also sent a copy of confirmed eticket.

My friend email HO reg timelines and they said they r processing application recd till 27th July. I was quite surprised when I personally saw that email. And in one of the other forums I heard the same. I think from July no of applications must have gone down

I am little bit concerned now as i have completed 11Weeks this weekend ( 10, If we calculate the time from the payment deduction Date as i paid by Chq ). Is it normal, why its taking sooo long??

Any advice will be extremely Helpful.
