No UT requested, My work permit was expired on 30th June 2008. When I called CC on 01/09/08, I was told that my doc's are still with the CW and still under consideration...what a silly status they were telling me.

Fortunately, i got my docs back today as well but dont know the status as will get to know after i reach home after work.

After running out of patience, at last i faxed my CW yesterday directly with plight of my application and that I need to travel on 14th. Result was that my docs were in post last evening and my mate recieved it today.

Now just to see what my ultimate fate is ---that's approved or not? will update.

in brief, i think CC is useless as they dont get updated info on system.

will post my timelines in the evening. best wishes to all still waiting.

Refno. dated 11th June received: 15th June
Got info on phone regarding need of bank statement: 6th August, sent the same day
mail asking bank statement dated 7/08 received: 11th August
UT: 13th august followed by another on 18th
Approved: 18th August
Stamped: 27th August
Direct Fax to CW: 2nd Sept.
Dipatched: 2nd Sept.

Have just managed to speak with one of the generous CW, who after looking into my details told that yesterday afternoon my documents have been dispatched to my home address via Royal Mail. And I should receive my documents in couple of days. Though I didnt ask the outcome but he said Visa has been granted.
So let;s see, I'll confirm other details when I receive my documents back.

This is really making me crazy. Really not able to make out on what basis cases are handled.

I just got an email from my company's immigration consultant that she has received my documents and I have been approved!

IGS to Tier 1 (UK application)

My timeline is as follows:

Application submitted to consultant on July 23
Ref letter from HO received with date July 31
Tier 1 granted with Expiry of 20 Aug 2011
Docs received by consultant today: Sept 4

I am very appreciative to all on this board for sharing their advice, timelines and guidance. I haven't posted before, but wanted to say that reading about all of you going through it all too has been very helpful.

This forum really helped me to know the timelines. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience.

Mistakes I made:
1. Never read this forum before applying
2. Haven’t sent recent photograph
3. Haven’t sent special delivery envelope

I called cc on 28th Aug and on 2nd Sep. On both times, the cc agent said “Your case is not processed so far. It would be allotted to CW any time.â€

I didn't make any urgent treatment request, as I was reading comments on this forum regulary I thought to give a call to CC yesterday evening. Today made a call at around 10:00 am and there was a kind CW who took my details and said my documents have been dispatched yesterday afternoon (what a co-incidence !!!) via Royal mail recorded delivery (I didn't send any special delivery envelope may be as I wasn't aware if we should do...and may be I only came to know about this forum after I applied)
Well that's all I have to tell...wish you guys all the best for your applications...

Did u apply for anu Urgent Treatment Request?

no i dint apply for UT request.. I feel they delay so much in despatching the documents.. the decision making and stamping part must have been over for june applicants..

dont worry.. though there is a delay the result will surely be positive...

dont worry am damn sure you will get ur visa soon...actually my visa was stamped on 19th aug but only today i got my docs back..

even i tried calling them to know my status , they said its under consideration.. they dont want to disclose the status so they continue to say the same dialouge....

Looks like applications are getting delayed (my guess ) for people who have applied on the last week of June.. I applied on 27 June ... still waiting... called y'day and the status was STILL UNDER CONSDN...

Are your applications (guys waiting to hear back - applied on last week of Jun) straightforward or complex? mine i showed earnings from 2 countries... i think it is complex.. thinking itz getting delayed 'coz of this..

My case is exactly similar and even I am waiting. I tried calling them several times but the response is same. I really wonder how is that possible? What makes them think so much that the applications get delayed by a month.

To all people waiting for a long time... Don't be upset, I'm quite sure it's all good... I agree with the comment that people who applied in the last week of June suffering from this a lot. But if there was a problem it'd be earlier notified to you, dont worry

I have been a silent observer for few months now. this forum has helped me a lot to understand and see the current processing times.

i am little bit worried and confused now as seems like i am one of the few people here on the forum who have been waiting for almost 12weeks now. i applied on 14th June from UK and still waiting. I have tried to call HO CC few times and all the time they give the same answer " Still under consideration and no decision has been made yet". is this normal?? did sent an email last week as well and havent heard anything back.

my case is straight forward with UK employer and Degree. wht can be the issue (if there is one, i cant think of any). can it be the case that its just lying around somewhere in HO and nobody is bothered to do anything about it. seems very strange that people who applied around the end of july and begining of Aug are getting visa faster then people who applied in June. whts the logic??

Any comments & suggestions please.
