My case is almost same as one of the guys already got the Tier1 done few days back,...But still can some one please give me some more clarification:
I get two salaries for the time I’m in UK. One in India with Tax deduction and one in UK (as allowance) with only net figure. There is no Tax deduction shown in the payslip as tax would be paid by my employer. So my UK Payslip will have gross and net figures same without any tax figures and no P60.

So my previous earnings will be:
1. Gross paid in India - in INR and coverted to Pounds as per the conversion rate
2. Net payable UK allowance in Pounds.

Hope the application will not be rejecvted if i dont show any Gross or Tax details.

Please help.

Hi All,

I have been silently observing the posts from different members of this forum.. I really appreciate everyone's contribution here..

I applied for my T1 on July 5th and haven't heard anything from the HO except for "Still under consideration". I am growing extremely impatient with this system. Please let me know if any of you received ur docs who applied around 1st week of July.. Any info you provide is much appreciated. Thanks for ur help in advance !

Gross pay is not a problem if your 12 month docs are original and with net pay you are eligible for points.

1. Point 1 is accepted

2. But why you are going for net UK pay, if you can go for Gross.

I believe arunkumarprs had the same case as you and he got his tier1, though tax calculations were not shown in his payslip too.

Just a thought.

Yes. The Rapidness that they show to deduct money from our accounts, the same sincerity, they can show in atleast responding to our queries
when we call them.

I dropped my application yesterday(18th Sep) via next day delivery. It was deliver today @ 10:08 as per Royal Mail website and @ 10:20 when I checked my acccount £750 were already been deducted !!! Within 15 minute of receiving !!!

I wonder why they do not process the application in such quick manner ?
Just a thought though ...

Thanks for replying back friends...
i can show Indian gross as the salary slip that i get in India has got the all three things - Gross / taxation details & Net pay.

But in UK i get an online allowance slip that does not have any gross details. It just have the net amount and that exactly matches what gets debited to my acccount.
My company pays a combined tax (may be for tax savings) in the end of the year. So the taxation details dont appear on the allowance slips.

I do qualify it i use my Indian Gross + UK Net.

Do you think i can use my UK net and Indian Gross.
Someone hasmentioned in the forum that UK net will not be considerd as it does not have any taxation details. Can someone please help???
Thanks in advance....

Yes, Net allowance pay acceptable as your allowance slips show both Gross and Net same amount. And hence your Bank statement.

Hello guys!

Congrats to all who have received there docs back in last few days.

I am still waiting.........., dnt know why its taking soo long in my case. i will be starting my 14th week of waiting as of this monday ( from the time Fee deducted from my account ) as i applied in 2nd week of JUNE.

Has anyone have any idea or views on, as to why its taking soo long. i would like to think that my case is straight forward as i have UK employer and Uk degree (so it shouldnt take long for them to verify my details). it can be the case that my case is just lying somewhere with CW & he has completely forgotton about it, as there are soo many people on the forum who got there passports back 4-5 weeks after they were actually approved (why they keep on holding to our passports for so long?). They even havent contact me since the time i applied asking me for more information or anything?

May god bless us all :)

Hello,

My frn had applied 4 tier 1 on 29may08 from UK. he is graduated last year 16october 2007, but he didn't went 4 IGS or Post study work.
As this his 17 week running BIA fails to give him any more info than this (still under consideration). but for IGS/PSW he have to make application with in 1 yr from his graduation date.

so what v want to know that incase of reject, can he still b eliglble to apply for his IGS/ PSW if the document turn up after 16 october 2008 and another one is on the basis of above situation can he send UT. or is their any other option you guy suggest?

thanks in advnc.

Hello,

wht uni/college he did his graduation from and wht he was doing between the time he finished degree 10/07 and 29/05 (till the time he applied for tier-1). that might throw some light on why its taking so long and also when is the current leave finishes and wht leave he is under at present?? is it student??

Regards

P.S - they do seem to take awfully long time in student-tier1 cases for some reason.

I applied in 2nd week of JUNE and still get "still under consideration" whenever i call them.

BTW- if your friedn is on WP then he dnt need to worry bout this PSW work thing. no where the question of applying for UT on the basis of this i recon it might not be accpeted as he is already on WP but not sure, will let other members to comment.

Hi justice,
my frn want to change the employer, i think he will resticted to change the employer while holding WP( which is the main reason he apply 4 t1).

The person who is in WP can only join other firm when his/her new firm is running the same sort of buissn. but if we see PSW he can join any frim easely with out any obstacle in btwn.

and also my frn cannot change his status from UK, if he want to go for PSW. i think only student can go for this whithin UK. but if he go back to his country i think he will eligble to apply 4 PSW.

Thanks 4 reply, waiting for othr gus views.

BTW - the oldest case a person waiting for tier1, i have seen so far is a guy on www.trackitt.com, who applied on 6th MAY , wp- tier1. so in his case he has been waiting for almost 5 months and still everytime he call he gets the old " still under consideration"

Three words i hate the most these days are "Still Under Consideration"

very moment i hear that, i get crazy............

Yes for maintainence fund you have to have required funds available for 3 months, not even a single day should have less.

Thanks

you need £800 everyday in your account for 3months for the maintainence fund requirement.
