Hi All,
I have done Engineering Graduation from Karnataka University, Dharwad.(this university is available in Self Assessment tool)
I am not sure what should I be entering in Grade row(For English Requirement) in Tier1 application form.

Please help me on this.

I just filled my division (distinction,first,second etc...). I donâ€™t think that really matters. But well I haven't received my docs back yet so may be I am wrong. Those who have got approvals might be able to comment.

One doubt: I'm not sure whether it is possible to fill the Tier 1 application form in PC? or has to be filled in hand written. It is good to have doc/pdf which can be filled in pc.

1. I need help seniors. I am on HSMP which expires on 12/06/2008. My documents for extension under Tier1 are all ready. When should I send my application. I want to make sure that i dont have to apply for another extension for ILR after 3 years. I mean i dont want to find myself short by few weeks for ILR in future. (AS LONG AS IT REMAINS 5 YEARS).

2. In the form it ask about the visa on which I came first to uk.
I came to UK on working holiday maker and then switched onto HSMP 2 years ago. So i need to fill in WHM Visa details, rite?

I called up HO today and after enquiring on my ref no. the person told me that my application is waiting in queue to be assigned to a case worker. So looks like its going to take couple of more weeks for sure. Check with them on your status and let me know.

No its not necessary that somebody should be there to collect.
