Bank statements for Maintenance funds..Please help!! Urgent!

Hi,
As described by pust_hsmp "EC applications in India have been rejected on the grounds that the main applicant did not apply for the EC of his family members as in view of the case worker it did not demonstrate the intention of the applicant to settle in UK under HSMP".

Is it really the case under Tier 1 (General). I am making an initial application for EC under Tier 1 (general) from India. As my wife is in employment and she has an agreement with her employer for 2 years, she cann't travel with me now. The 2 years period will be over only in August 2009. There is no use just getting stamped and waiting for 1 year. So I am applying only for my self. In this, my EC will be rejected...?

Do I have given the above reason anywhere in VAF forms...?

Please help me on this.

Nothing like that ganesh !! I have got EC Tier1 stamped for myself only .
I have mentioned in VAF form that , my wife is studying ..so she'll be joining after an yr .
