Confusion with Indian names in different documents

Post by indnresi » Wed Sep 03, 2008 7:21 pm

HI,
I find various posts for getting affidavit for the confusion with Indian names: for example, names ending with kumar, XXXX KUMAR in one docuement(in Degree Certificate) and XXXKUMAR as given name (in passport), Should this affidavit be obtained only in India or can be obtained in UK Notary.
I am asking this because i dont have enough time in my visa to go to India and get the affidavit.
This is for TIER 1 General application purpose.
Please could someone kindly clarify.
thanks.

Hi indnresi,
There is no issue in your case... I got my approval recently with almost the same case. see my prev post where i have explained my case.

I got it approved from UKBO without any issue.

all the best

Cheers
