Rohiths,

I have a similar situation to yours. It's been over 8 weeks since I submittd my application. The status has been changed randomly between under consideration to awaiting further consideration for many times. Due to the travel I booked on the 22nd of March, I sent urgent treatment request accompanied by supporting document yesterday. Not sure they will take it into account. Let's cross our fingers.

Wow, seems like from the above replies that I can forget about my reply in next one month. My application was recieved on 22nd Jan.
So I can completely forget about it till 22nd March, what do you guys reckon ? Any senior member here.
Its a Tier 1 - Fresh application. Applied from with UK.

Any  thoughts ??

cheers
Karan
Any news Karan.. I applied on 21st Jan. Checked with HO yesterday and they said "awaiting Consideration".
Supernova : Nothing so far, Waiting Patiently - if you check the last replies - it seems we have to wait. Did u apply from within UK and are switching between WP to HSMP ?

Cheers
KB
Yes, I applied from UK for switching between WP to Tier 1. As of yesterday, the status has changed to 'Awaiting Further Consideration'

Congrats mate .... so there we are, guess he is the first one from the Feb Applicants getting an approval in as early as 25 days, good response time ....

If the home office is still sorting out applications on or before 29th Jan then that shows that the timelines on the UKBA website arnt really accurate and are just for formality ....

So guys you can expect anything anytime !

My HSMP expires at the end of April, so I am going to be getting my Tier 1 extension very soon.

Does anyone know if you are allowed to work and live in the UK whilst you wait for your application.. even if it you are still waiting once the HSMP expires? eg. can I work in May if my application is still being appraised?

I know they say that 1 month waiting is 'normal' - but it seems impossible to know how long each application may take.

Hi skr,

The other day I post UT to another address which the contact center told me of.
UKBA
PO Box 3468
Sheffield
S3 8WA

Also I checked it's been received by them and tracked in their system.

Both addresses seem working.

Rohiths,

Have you heard anything from them? Since you have requested completion by tomorrow.

Best Luck to you.

Hi wp_to_tier1_168, I had sent to the UT to Suffield address as well. I have not heard anything from them. After I saw the Croydon address yesterday from skr_hsmp, I sent an immediate courier to Croydon. I hope they will do something about my request atleast now. Fingers crossed.

I might not be bothered by this, since the contact center system crashed yesterday and the information may not be updated today.

I spoke to HO just now to check on my application and asked about urgent treatment as i have a job offer. I was advised to fax the request + evidence to 0114 2072536. I hope this helps

Rohiths,

I just checked again my case and it was changed to under consideration from having been awaiting further consideration for a week. But on last wednesday afternoon it had ever been under consideration for a while :( . Not sure if this one is real progresss. How's yours? Looking forward to hearing from you. Let's see tomorrow.

My case was AFC on wednesday and now it has changed to Under consideration. I have sent UT on monday. Hopefully this time under consideration would work. Best of luck to all!

good morning, Rohits.

It's great to hear from you. I also just called them and it was a bit odd that first I was told again awaiting further consideration :( and I asked the lady to double check it and then she said it is still under consideration. Do I trust them? Don't know yet.
