Processing times

Post by madanrm » Fri Sep 15, 2006 10:45 am

Guys,

Before posting your ref number and asking for details on processing times , i hope you would read thru the postings for the past 1 month atleast.

Currently AFAIK , they are processing 0801XX series (appl submitted in July). Pls extrapolate the timings for your application yourself. Pls note that there are special cases also.I m confident each one is their best judge.

Well - Lets wait and watch

Post by madanrm » Mon Oct 09, 2006 3:39 pm

Hi niruv,
I called the HO on 28th Sep and was updated that the docs are still in the high commission. I think we sent more documents than needed. :-((. But well the same update. Wait for two weeks and then you will get the status immediately . Can anyone give me the email id (from which we can expect some responses) I never got one .

Pray and wait.

why delay in airmail delivery?

Post by syedjaved » Fri Oct 20, 2006 1:01 pm

My HSMP application was refused on 4th August and even after the laps of 80 days I have not yet received my documents. I have phoned and sent faxes many times and always got the response that sometimes airmail takes 12 weeks to reach destinations. Can somebody enlighten me on this. Why this much delay? Are we in stone age?

syedjavid,

It appears your mail has been lost in transit. Air mail is not registered and I know at least one instance of such type.Ask HO to provide a copy of decsion and file review

file lost

Post by syedjaved » Sun Oct 22, 2006 9:34 am

Thank you Sara. I shall do the same. However, I had many original documents in my application. How can I recover them? Do the HSMP people keep a copy of the whole file? Thanks again.

Isn't notarised copies of document sufficient? Do we need to send original?
