PBS Tier 1 General Refused

Post by snarasimhan » Wed Apr 28, 2010 8:21 am

Hi All,

I applied on 3rd April and got confirmation on 8th April. I got my paperwork back this morning and the decision was that I will be refused visa because of points claimed in previous earnings. I was told that because my accountant submitted my tax in India it will be considered as same source. I sent an accountants letter and SARAL paperwork for consideration. Do I have any chance of appealing. Any help will be appreciated.

you should call up ukba and get it fixed else you will have issues later i.e. in extension.

Hello Guys,

My timeline is as follows:

Application submitted through solicitor: 01 Apr
Application received: 3 Apr
Fees: postal orders
Status: still waiting

I only have UK income and UK degree. Nothing else. I also got replacement bank statements for Aug, Sep and Oct 09 with bank's logo and a stamp. Don't know why my application is delayed. Any thoughts?

UKBA timeline says that this week they consider application received on or before 5th so yours should be among them and hence there is no delay as yet - you are likely to get it some time next week if not earlier. Good luck!

Dont worry mate you will most probably receive this saturday if your application is straight forward. Dont worry about bank statements. It should be fine. I received last saturday and I had applied on 1st April and reached there on 6th. Just relax and wait.

Thanks All, Thanks to forum as well. I received the passport back today and visa issued on 27th April 2010.

My wife and a child didn't apply with me as I haven't had enough money in my account. Money would be in account enough days to apply by 18th June. Would it be a problem if they apply dependant visa after 18th of June? They have my psw dependant visa until 30th of November 2010.
