Need HSMP wrote:Good news from my side.

Received a call from the case worker saying that my application is approved. My details are:

Applied for WP to Tier1 on : 16-June-2008 from UK
Appl received and payment deducted : 17-June-2008
Reference letter dated 17th June received on : 23-June-2008

I have not applied for urgent treatment. But I had sent an email to inform me once application is processed so that I can arrange courier.

So I received a call from the case worker today. When asked, he said that the application is approved.

Now I am working on arranging a courier. Earlier I did not realise that the pickup services are so costly (more than £150). Trying to find a cheaper option. MBE.CO.UK is one option, but no idea how much they charge.

Thanks everybody for help. I will wish to continue as a member of this site and help others.

Best of luck.
Question, I have sent the Special Delivery stamped cover, can any one tell is this sufficient or do I need to arrange for courier?.

I have applied on 31st May and still waiting....

If you do not send any stamped envelope, HO deliver using Royal Mail recorded delivery. If you have attached stamped envelope, I think HO will use that.

I am arranging for courier because I won't have anyone to receive the packet. If it is a private courier, I can opt for date and time of delivery.

Congrats! Do you know why it took so long to receive your papers? Did they notify you of your approval on July 14?

From UK ...Though they have stamped visa as tier1 migrant the letter attached with it says that

the extension is under old rules and also that presently you can apply for ILR with the existing rules but the ilr rules may change in the future

Congrats!! Could you please tell me how HO returned your documents? Is it by Royal mail's - Special delivery Next day service? HO told me that they have posted back my documents yesterday, but I have not received my documents today. So wondering how much time it will take to get my docs...

Hi, If no one is at your home to collect the package, then the postman will leave a "Sorry you were out card", then you can either collect it from post office or arrange a redelivery

Maintenance funds

Post by pcmalik » Tue Aug 05, 2008 6:12 pm

Hi guys,

I have got a query regarding maintenance funds.

I had submitted my internet saver account statement as a maintenance proof for the period of 01 Dec 2008 to 28 May 2008.

My tier 1 appication was posted on 03 June 2008, so there is a gap of 5 days between bank statement and application submission.
So would it create any problem as according to their guidance notes prior to 29th June 2008 it says:
"Personal bank or building society statements covering the 3 month period immediately preceding the application".

Decission on my application is made by the case worker but the decission is still pending to be made by the case worker's manager.
Can I still send my bank statement covering the period 28 May 2008 to 27 July 2008 which I have just received by post from the bank?

I have not been told about the decission yet.

Please advice.

Malik,

There might be a little risk here, but depends on Case worker... lets here what other people says...

In my case I have submitted the internet stmts stamped by Teller... Have submitted stmt till the date of my postage i.e. attached till 31st May and posted on 31st may...

hi mailk,

I do not think it is a problem. You applied on 3 June 2008 and for applications made before 28 June 2008, there was a special arrangement, that is, you only need to submit a bank statement dated with a month immediately prior to your application. In your case, a bank statement dated anytime between 3rd June and 2nd May should be fine.

summerleaf,

It makes sense to me what you are saying which is according to the guidance notes that was there before 29 June 2008.

Is there anyone who got their application approved with a scenario matching my case for maintenance fund?
