Of course it is positive. If it's not approved, it would have been sent back to you, not for stamping.

this is really annoying... i talked to cc this morning and kindly said i applied on 20th June and it's been almost 2 months is it possible to learn the result? and she said no we dont give status updates on tier1..

narmatha wrote:First time when i called it was the standard response"We can't give individual status,it takes 9 weeks for the total process"again in the afternoon i asked my friend to contact ,the case worker asked for the date of application, when he said it's 22,"CW asked for the ref number then told that application is processed and sent for stamping and will be hearing soon"

I talked with HO today and asked about my status which i have applied on 19th june

The guy said your case is with Management now.... caseworker has done his work so your case is with the management... and no decision has been made yet.

Does any one know what does its mean..... ???

Thanks

Did you mention it's a tier 1 already? Because they ask if it's tier 1 and if i say yes, i always get the same reply. we can't give any status update on tier1 applications...

Well this is true... I think there is 1 cc who is more willing to give info and I managed to talk to her just now...

Basicly she looked at my ref number then she said please wait a moment i will check it with your caseworker (since my caseworker told me he made a decision and pass my documents to relevant team to return to me.) after 2 mins she said, it's still under considiration but won't take long now...
I think I want to cry...

I dnt understand how they are giving individual updates to the people who applied around 28th june and not to the people who applied on 20th. I know its a matter of luck but still..............its crazy

Yes mty friend.. Unfortunately it's crazy.. Even the case of a member here i think his name is 'jazz' something, even more crazy! He's been told his case still under consideration on 4th august, but when he received his document visa was stamped on 27th July or something like that

Does that mean there will be no means of contacting them for the next few days if they are moving their office?

Guys, Good evening to everyone!

Question might sound silly but i wanted to clarify it anyways.

Does anyone have any idea about how HO process the cases? Do they process them in the order of, the date on the reference letter (which is normally the date when they recieved the payment) or the date they recieved the case.

Please Clarify!!

Regards :?

Generally the date of application is the date they(HO) received the application and this would normally also be the day payment was deducted. If you have used credit card date of deduction might show 2 working days later on the statement. But the date of application will still be the one when HO received the documents.

Thanks for your input. I think wht you are saying might be right but the thing here is wht if someone pays by chq, then there will be a weeks difference between the date on which payment is recieved by HO and the date on which the application was recieved.

I think they consider the date on which the payment ws cleared as a main processing date. That was actually told to me by the CCE last month when i asked them.

I am alomost 99% sure that its the date when the payment gets cleared because i was just going through some posts on trackitt.com and this forum and found out that most of the people who are getting the passports back this week have the similar Payment deduction dates but different application recieved dates.

Just a thaught...............

I paid by cheque, and when I spoke to the HO they gave me a reference number, but said that money hadn't cleared yet (it was in a different office?) and thus wasn't properly in the system. They said the cheque had to clear before they started to properly process my application. Which is a bummer, becuase I would have used a credit card otherwise.
