I applied for a renewal under the judicial review category.

I need to send my wife abroad in first week of November. In a dilemma , shall i buy the ticket or not ? Is it really taking arounf 3 months ?

Thanks

Hello guys!

Congrats to all who have received there docs back in last few days.

I am still waiting.........., dnt know why its taking soo long in my case. i will be starting my 14th week of waiting as of this monday ( from the time Fee deducted from my account ) as i applied in 2nd week of JUNE.

Has anyone have any idea or views on, as to why its taking soo long. i would like to think that my case is straight forward as i have UK employer and Uk degree (so it shouldnt take long for them to verify my details). it can be the case that my case is just lying somewhere with CW & he has completely forgotton about it, as there are soo many people on the forum who got there passports back 4-5 weeks after they were actually approved (why they keep on holding to our passports for so long?). They even havent contact me since the time i applied asking me for more information or anything?

May god bless us all :)

Kind reagrds

Yes I have the same.

I thought it was just me because I have Dr. in front of my name because of my phd.

But I guess its general now.

Never mind, never wanted to be a medical doctor anyway

Hi just got off the phone from the HO. The automated message has moved forward to 27 August (was 21 Aug in the morning). But my application acknowledged on 26 Aug has still not been allocated to a case worker.

Tier1 Approval

Post by Tier1Aspirant1 » Mon Sep 22, 2008 8:04 pm

Guys

Last wenesday was that lucky day for me when I got the Tier Approval.
My time line

Applied: 28th July 2008
Ref Letter: 30th July 2008
Status: Tier 1 approved(17 Sept 2008)
Upto: 09 Sept 2011

but with the happiness there was a little amount of worry as the great Homeoffice FORGOT TO STAMP VISA on my spouse passport..yes thats true..Mistake like this can happen in this part of world too.. However I called homeoffice and now have sent the passport back.

Also the funny part was when I told the customer service executive that 'I hope this is a exception' and she replied saying 'I hope so' :P .. Thats funny right..

Anyways I am hoping to get the passport back soon..with the staming hopefully

Also my apologies for not posting the news earlier..And thanks to this site, it helped a lot

From my experience tracking the forum for almost a year, and especially now, the systems that the call centre use lags behind the actual events.

i.e. the case status is not logged soon enough on the system. so for instance, the passport could be on its way back to you and you would still be told that its still under consideration if you phoned in.

another cause could be that the call centre personnel just get tired of checking each and every call because of the call volumes. so they might just say its still under consideration and thus get on with the next call.

so bottom line you cant completely trust what the cc staff tell you.

Tier 1 Processed

Post by Tier1_Aspirant » Wed Sep 24, 2008 6:52 am

Hi All,

I along with 1 dependant had applied for Tier 1 on 25th August from VFS Bangalore. The status on VFS site is changed to "Processed application delivered to Blue Dart on 23 Sep 2008".
I checked with VFS and got to know that this does not mean that application is accepted, it could be rejected as well :(
I'm a bit sceptical as to how did it get processed in a month whereas from what I see on the forum, its taking much longer for everyone. Does that mean its rejected?
Would calling the HO help to know the exact status?
