First Entry

Post by Eugene » Sun Mar 14, 2004 12:52 pm

Does anybody know whether there are some restrictions regarding the first entry time ( e.g. not latter then 3/4 month after the application approvement or something like that)

Thanks,

Evgeny

Eugene,

you need to apply for EC within 3months of the date on your HSMP approval letter.

You then have 12months within to enter the UK.....The longer you leave it (i.e entry to UK), the more difficult it will be to get a renewal at the end of the first year.

Good Luck

Hi Chess,

sorry but just to confirm, I understand you have 3 months from HSMP approval to apply for EC but I then thought you only had 3 months in which to enter the UK. So the EC wil be valid for 12 months then?!?!

Thanks
Mike

Correct, you are given EC valid for entry for 12 months, but the later you enter the more difficult it would be to be prepared for the status renewal once the 12 months from the EC grant date expires.
