no idea mate.. they are stuck at 10th june.. maybe a lot of caseworkers have gone on summer holidays.

Whew!! I applied on the 28th of June using the same window.And my funds came in on the 27th. I do not think it is a problem, as long as it is there. And I have another question Although I sent my application on the 28th, it probably reached them on the 1st or 2nd. I understood tht it does not matter as long as it was sent before the 30th. Can anyone confirm ?

Hi,

I have same situation here, I ensured to send by special delivery. I had read on their website that the day fees has been processed will be considered as date of the application.

So that is roughly 6 weeks! Thats not bad at all!

SO lucky you applied before the 10th as the HO got stuck there and refuse to move on...

Hi Folks,

I wonder how do you guys check your application status??

I knew you did that on the VFS website, but I tried and got a message saying "invalid refernce number".

I am sure I have entered the reference no. correctly. What's going wrong here?

I called HO today and the lady said they are processing applications around 10june and said can't give any more update than that.
However, I said I have sent fax to consider my application for urgent tretment couple of weeks ago and then she checked my status and said the case worker has done the work yesterday(29/07) and it has gone to manager for approval and I should get documents in few days time.

My time lines are as follows:
HSMP(initial approval jun06) extension
Posted(Royal mail) on 16th June08
HO received on 17th June08
Ref received on 21June08

I wonder what does the application went to manager for approval mean?

Actually spoke to the lady at HO today, got the same answer as everyone else that still processing applications recieved till 10th june. i also asked her about the date thing and she said that the date which they give when they say Ho is working on the applications recieved on so and so date, is actually the date they recieved the application and not the one on which paymeny was processed. Hope this helps

I have received my passport today with valid 3yrs visa

Application sent(within UK) - June 18 2008 (WP to Tier 1)
Received HO reference letter dated: 19 June 2008
Urgent treatment letter faxed and posted dated on: 26 July 2008
Reason for the urgent reatment leter: have to appear ISEB exam on 04 Aug 2008
Passport recived on : 1st August 2008

If anybody require their passport immediately go ahead and send an urgent treatment letter.

I applied on the 4th of June as of last week....still under consideration.

Anyone with similar timelines...mine has been under consideration for over 3 weeks now - they asked for more bank statements which i sent and were recieved about 10 days back.
