Application receipted on 16th June. Approved and in dispacth

Post by quirky » Tue Aug 05, 2008 1:17 pm

Hi Guys,

I have been traweling through this forum for about a week now to decipher when I might get my passport back. I know how frustrating all this can be !!!

Thought I should post my expereince. I was applying for tier 1 hsmp extension from within the UK.

application sent: 12/06/08
Application receipt: 16/06/08

Called UKBA today. After a horiffic effort trying to get through to the call center I was told it has been approved and is in dispatch. Should recieve it back within the week.

From what I can gather from my searches and expereince you can expect to wait 6-8 weeks. If you need it more urgently then I suggest you send through a urgent treatment fax to 0114 207 5864. This has in some cases produced a positive result, but it does appear you need a relatively good reason. Evidence always helps.

I found this urgent treatment template on another post.

I hope the above helps...

HSMP (1+3) to Tier 1

Post by chakku71 » Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:47 pm

HSMP (1+3) to Tier 1
Got passport stamped today 7/8/08.Visa for applicant + wife + 2 U.K born children
Applied on 16th June.
Payment processed on 17th June
Acknowledgment letter received dt 18th June.
Did send an urgent treatment letter 4 days back, not sure whether it has had an effect. The date on the actual visa page is 30th July- for 3 more years.
Was very anxious, hope those waiting do not have to do so for long.
No point in ringing- I never got through, send a fax- the number has already been given in this forum. All the best and thank you forum for the great work to keep everyone informed.

wht you do is........... you dial option 1 and option 1 again rather than option2 and you can get hold of someone. if you press option 1 and option 2 , you will never be able to speak to anyone.

Try this.
