you are welcome ukindia,

They mentioned Application Recieved 25 th that means they took nearly 7 to 8 working days for DD clearence....

From 25 th onwards they will take minimun 12 to 15 working days for assigning case worker once they assigned case worker then all depends on him or her, if everything is perfect documentation it will take only few hours to decide,

HO mentioned in website most of cases delayed because of poor documentation.

I heard from friends that they can spend only 3 hours per case.....

In your case If they satisfied with your documentation, you will get by the end of June 3rd week or 4th week.

not good idea to call them frequently.

thats all my openion ukindia,

regards..

kumar....

Dear Kumar

Could you kindly tell me if you had received your passport back with HSMP stamp. How long did it take ?

I earn 1800 net amonth and has a mortgage of 1800 amonth, do u think this will hamper my chances of getting my HSMP stamped.

why do they ask about the mortgage

is it a plus factor that you have your own house and pay a mortgage or is it a negative one if you have less money to live with.

I have no dependants

your advice is greatly appreciated

cha

hello cha,

I am still waiting for result, I am expecting this week.

here anyone got result in this week

I did't see any colum regarding mortagage in HSMP Application,

The one they are asking about mortage is different application that is FLR(IED), you have to send that once you got HSMP Application Approved.

I am not quit sure why they are asking about the mortgage.

Once they approved your HSMP Application, They dont see much on your FLR(IED), All they see for FLR(IED), sufficient bank balance or good job, anyway you have good job, just send pay slips, that's enough.

My openion not good idea to tell them about mortagage, you better take some one else suggestion also before applying.

regards

kumar...

Early June applicant timeline:

Application sent: June 1, 2006
Application received: June 5, 2006

CC not yet charged.... I've heard that recently some applicants' packages were returned back because of failure to charge CC. Not sure why.

Hi Friends

I am also a May 2006 applicant. My application reached there on 23 May. I got the ref number by phoning them on last Friday - 09 June. I am yet to receive the ref number through email although I requested them on phone as well to send it by email and they confirmed my email address also.

Out of curiosity, i now intend to send them email to check my ref. number and progress of application.

May I know what email address u r using to get progress?
Would appreciate a quick response.

regards,

QE

Hi Ashish,
I have got back my docs by normal post. I did not ask for a courier pick up.

Yes they had arrived in the same folder that I had sent and all the documents were in good condition.

Hi friends,

Today I got the reference number from HSMP in response to my email message. I am glad to see that it is the same number which they gave me on phone last Friday.

My application reached there on 23rd MAy and cheque was cleared on 31 May 2006.

Any progress achieved by any other May 2006 applicant?

CONGRATS Summertime!!!

It is always good to read positive posts like yours above.

Do you know if they contacted your references. Did you ask to treat your application as an urgent one i.e. send the additional form needed. Just seesm they reviewed your application quick.

HI Rocio

I do not think they contacted any of my references. I phoned them on Friday 9 June to enquire about progress and was informed that they have not assigned it to a case worker yet.

I sent an email on tuesday (20 June) to enquire again and got and email back on the 21st to say that my documents were posted back to me on the 14 th of June. It was thus very quick since being assigned to a caseworker after the ninth (Friday) - thus possibly on the Monday or Tuesday - and the documents were sent back on the Wednesday. I did not ask for a quick review or anything. I do think my application made it as straightforward as possible for them to come to a conclusion.

good luck with yours

Congrats Summertime on approval of ur application.

I have a few questions, would appreciate if u can reply;

Did they mention in the email that ur application has been approved?
I have learnt from the Board that usually they are reluctant in informing about approval or otherwise on phone or via email and just tell that a decision has been taken which is being sent by post.

What is ur profession? R u under 28 or over 28?

I believe u r from South Africa?

warm regards,

Summertime,

Even mine is same case, I called 9th June they said still not assigned to case worker and I called on 20th June they said decision has been made on 14th June and sent back documents already.
I tried to call number 0114 207 6020 to know the status, but either it will not connet or it will be always busy. I am trying to reach this number from past three days.
How fast were you able to connect this number.

Did you get your documents.

Thanks and Regards,
Prakashg
