Out-of-country dependent (Tier 1 Gen.) application timelines

Hi Rahul,

I did send email and got the following reply:

"We understand your concern however, this is to inform you that the Entry Clearance Officer will try to make a decision based on your application form and the supporting documents that you have provided with in the stipulated time lines. As per process, the British High Commission has recommended to allow sufficient time to process the visa application in case if further scrutiny is required.

Further, to inform you that each application is subject to an individual assessment and processing times may vary, hence applicants are requested to be patient and wait for the processing to be completed."

I think the early delay from application received to application processing start was due to christmas holidays. Rest of the application processing just took 2 days. :d

select Option 3. All tier 1, 2,4
select your country from where u are applying ur visa
select type of visa = work
select purpose of application = PBS tier 1 entrepreneur
select type of application = tier 1 entrepreneur partner

Hi My wife has applied for Tier 1 General Dependent visa from Ahmedabad on 7th March.
Recently she has received interview call from UK high commission (date is not given yet)
Any one has idea about interview process or any useful information.
I would really appreciate urgent reply.

Hi

BHC only calls for visa interview (tier1 general dependent) when they are not clear about something, certain evidence might not be clear etc, this is good sign that they are willing to grant the visa provided something is cleared.
Just be ready with all details of your application and supporting evidences, she should get visa for sure. my wife just got her tier1 dependent visa granted today, i would be happy to assist you further if required.

Yeah just got the visa approved today

, it takes exact 15 working days from the date of application if applied in Mumbai

On 20th Saturday, I got a call from BHC asking for my wife passport/visa copy. I told that it is there in the submitted document, and requested to check it once again. Then they acknowledge it is there. Asked when I will be getting the visa and passport, but they told they cannot comment on the decision at that time.

Its been more than 15 days ( 17 working days in total) but still in processing.

Update:

Status changed happened today(20th working day).

"Your Application is being sent to Application Center. Please wait until it is ready for collection".

Since I have opted for collection,they are sending there. But still the mesage sound ambiguous. I am not sure whether it is successful or not.

Status Changed on the same day requesting for collection of Documents.

Passport Collected on 30 April 2013. Visa Approved with the validity of mine.

Total Working Days: 20 Working Days
