Please confirm if attached Bank Letter from HSBC bank is OK

I am planning to apply Tier 1 on 10-Jun-10.So, Please confirm if below letter is OK

On HSBC Official Stationery

This is to Certify that Mr. XXXXXXX is maintaining a HSBC Bank Savings account with us bearing Account no. XXXXXXXX since 20-Oct-2008 in UK

The withdrawal balance maintained as on 05-un-2010 is XXX GBP

The minimum balance maintained in the above mentioned account from 01-Feb-10 to till date is XXX GBP and we confirm that the minimum balance of 800 GBP is maintained for last consecutive 90 days from today

I KINDLY REQUEST YOU SEND ME A SCANNED COPY OF THIS LETTER.


My bank is not issuing me such a letter !!!! I hold an Savings Account with HDFC Bank and they have strictly said me they cant issue me such a letter.

The Branch Manager even argued me that NO BANK WOULD GIVE SUCH A LETTER.

I would like to show this to them that this is possible. Even after discussing/arguing with her for 30 mins, she (branch head) she never gave up.

I got the letter from HDFC bank, Just show them the Tier-1 visa requirements, and then they will issue you a letter. You need to write an application stating the reason for a request of such a letter.

HDFC bank IMO is aware of such a requirement.

Man -

Today over 30 mins of discussion. That lady never accepted my comments. She spoke by her rules. She said NO and

I showed the guidance document. She SAID MY UNDERSTANDING OF ENGLISH STATED FROM 194 THRU 200 IS WRONG.



I first discussed, then i argued... She never listened to me... She just spoke her rules.
