po box adress for special delivery?

Post by gidoc » Sat May 31, 2008 10:36 pm

Hi all,
Please clarify if we can send application by Royal Mail Special delivery to the PO box address of BIA or should we use the non-po box address like the one given for courier.
Many thanks

Gosh doc
Why don't you send it to the non-PObox address?? Why waste your (and others') precious time by asking such a   question?

Thanks for your answer 8) I guess this was a place you could ask such Qs!
So here goes another one!
Do you know why HO call themselves BIA on the forms and UK Border Agency on website? :!:

Sure one can ask questions, but not too sure if anyone can provide accurate answers to such intelligent questions !

Are you sure you are sending the appropriate form ... for the right category? Just asking .. so you don't end up sending the wrong form to the wrong address.

Use the courier address if it is a recorded delivery.

Doc, at least try to not ask the same question in multiple topics.

BIA never acknowledges the application. u can check on royal mail website and they will confirm. also after 4-5 days u can see the proof of delivery online.

Recorded mails sent through only Royal Mail can be delivered to a po box. See below:

What kind of mail can be sent to my PO Box?
Most types of mail can be sent to your Royal Mail PO Box but we will not accept mail from other carriers or couriers.

What if mail has to be signed for?
If anything has to be signed or paid for, we'll leave an advice card in your PO Box.
