Tier 1 (G) vs ILR with New Rules

Sounds like I missed one hot party !!! Friday afternoon people, take it easy. Anyone who is on T1 G and moaning on this thread need to walk away as it does not apply to them. Furthermore, if the rule does affect you (unfortunately) stick the discussions to and around that. I am in agreement that most of the highly skilled person, who would have come to the UK and stayed for 5 years, should be able to get to £35k salary a year, and I am sure even in current market. Those who are in lower packages would adopt no other way than to go self employed to prove an additional income. We must be stupid to think that UKBA does not know this. This is one corporate world, lets face it.

highly skilled Like carry out owners, as one said before. lol

Tier 1 general should not be affected to any changes, the only change they can do at this stage is maybe to increase 5 year settlement limit to 10 years etc (!)

But I do not believe they can remove ILR option at all.

If they do , we can take this to court and there is a very good chance that we will win.
