Re: Maintenance funds - Joint Account

Post by ganeshptrk » Wed Jun 18, 2008 10:20 am

Hi,
My opinion is: You may mention that the amounts on certain dates were a transfer from one your accounts. And you can also attach a statement of your other account from where you did the transfer, just to let them know that it is your money only. You may also explain the reason for the transfer.

This is what I would do if I were in your situation.

The fact is, the seller do not get any documents. Only the buyer will get the Sale Deed.

So u have just mentioned the credit and debit transaction why I am asking is I have transfered my amount from one bank account to another bank account and also I have deposited nearly 1L amount in 3 days time in my bank acccount.

Thats why I am little bit worried about what should I mentioned in cover letter specif to this transactions. or do I need to tell them that I have deposited and transfered this amoutn from one bank account to another account and do i need to justify the source of eveidece for this transfer and submit any document.

Kindly let me know what u have mentioned in ur cover letter for credit and debit transcations.

Hi,

Ganesh no offence to ur comments, however showing money transfered from one account to another account and then providing explanation for transfer will just complicate life of the Case Worker according to me.

Chirag it is not that difficult to understand what is required and what is not required. Also somewhere I read in guidelines that providing unwanted data may delay visa processing, now I dont how much of this is true for timelines of visa processing, however this would certainly qualify as unwanted, a note would just suffice according to me. Remember main use of maintenance funds is that in case you need money in UK afetr u land then u would not depend on someone else and u would have ur own money, now I am sure u have taken care of that situation by reserving good part of ur money to be taken with u ....

Be positive, ask everyone, however u decide what is right for u ...

Hi CoolguyIndia,

I have taken care of that situation, I have double the maintanance amount in my account.
As I wanted to show only one account for maintanance fund hence I have transfered the amount form one bank to another bank.

the amout which I transfer is in the month of march and I will be showing the maintanace fund from April08 to June08.

But the problem is for maintanace fund I wil be showing my salary account in which the transfer will be reflected, as I will be submitting my bank statement for earnings also.

I just wanted to make sure that If I am explaining anything in cover letter then I also have to provide the document as well for confirming the same So does it create any delay in process. or submit the document which only asked.

Your both the suggestions are very helpful. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks and Regards,
Chirag

So in this case do I need to specify in my cover letter.

Hi Coolguy,

As u said correctly the more i think the more I will get confused.

This is happening with many people as nothing is mentioned in detail about maintanace fund. I have read many threads where people application got rejected because of maintanance fund. So I dont want to take any chance thats why I making sure before I fill my application in mumbai.

Thanks and Regards,

I am about to apply for tier 1 and just realised that my name on the payslip is not my full name. My surname is displayed 'M' instead of the full surname.
Do I need to get a letter from HR?

Yes manu345,
get a letter from your company certifying your full name, make sure its in company letterhead and company seal, authorized signature is present. better if u can ask them to add a line about the discrepancy about the name in the payslip and the original full name.

I hope the net salary in the payslip and the bank statement showing debits of salary is reflecting correctly.

Write in detail in the cover letter about this ambiguity.

Seniors, any more suggestion?

Thanks

Ya the net salary matches in bank statements, no issues with that. I have requested for such a letter, hope I get it.
Will it make sense to provide the original hike letter ? that has my full name. It seems the HR and payroll has 2 diff name.

Is the hike letter anyway mentioning your employee ID ? Which must be same in payslip, HR dept or any other department in an organization. Then you can highlight the Emp id.

Just logically think how you can make the thing reasonable and easy to understand for a unknown person and give only relevant documents supporting your statement.

Hi

Post by ganeshptrk » Fri Jun 20, 2008 8:59 am

Hi,
I submitted my tier 1 application on 16-Jun. I didn't fully complete section 6.2 of VAF9B, which is travel dates. The thing is I was on WP in U.K between 2003 to 2005 June. And in between these dates, I came to India 4 times on vacation and travelled back. But I didn't metion these dates in section 6.2, thinking that I didn't travel on a different visa and I was in continuous employment.

However, it seems that I need to provide these details also. As I already submitted the appliation, I have three ways to proceed.
1. Send these travel dates through mail or someother way to VFS for consideration. (How can I do this, if possible)
2. If they don't accept any documents once an application has been sent, then withdraw the application. (Again how can I do this)
3. Lastly, whatever may be the case, just don't do anything and wait for their decision.

As I submitted the application only on 4 days back, I don't think any decisison on my application has been made already.

Senior members, please help me. I am very tensed.

Thanks

Proof of Accomodation and Job Search Details

Post by shashi545 » Fri Jun 20, 2008 3:44 pm

Hi Kaushal,

Recently they have added these 3 items in addition to the list of documents you submitted, when applying from India

1. Proof of accomodation, anything like proof of some hotel booking
2. Job Search Details, any email interaction with consultants
3. P.B.S. form, you need to collect this from VFS, has details like employment history & regular details. Probably this will be forwarded to Integra for checking I suppose.

I went on 18 June 2008 to apply and the VFS officer said that its better to provide these details as per his experience, he was ready to take documents without these, but he said that it will be on my own risk. He was very friendly with me and hence I believe what he mentioned is true and better to provide, to be on safe side

Hey Mashsmp,

I just got revised status on VFS site, it shows as :
"Processed application delivered to Blue Dart on 25 Jun 2008"

Does this mean it is approved ? I will be able to see documents only on 28th June as docs are going to my main home...
