Tier 2 -second job in same filed for HSMP

Dear Folks

One of my friend is planning to apply switch over from Tier 2 to Tier 1 next year. He is on a work permit and working as a physiotherapist

He needs few points on his earnings category.

He couldnot get the answer to the below questions from Home office.

He is not sure about the Tier 2 rules & regulation.

1. Can he do a second job (20 hrs per week )Under Tier 2 Visa in the same profession on another hospital?

If he get a positive answer he can start searching for second job.

I hope some one can guide us.

Yes he can as long as it is below 20 hrs a week.

But he needs to make sure that there is nothing in his current employment contract that would prevent him from taking up any additional job.
