Hi,

Do a google research?

Apparently check with the VFS bangalore office. They will beable to assist you.
If that doesnt work out call the BHC, chennai for getting the translation done.

This is the response I got from BHC
-----------

Dear sir/madam

This is in response to your mail.

For your kind information the propety documents should be completely in
English. If it is in the regional language then you need to translate &
attest in english. We do not have information on who does the
translation. May be any notary lawywer will be able to help you in this.

Warm Regards,
VFS Global Services Pvt Ltd.

----------

I am trying to contact some lawyer who can help me on this. If someone knows about this do let me know.

Also I heard about a rather strange case-

One person applied for HSMP and submitted ITR return as one of the doc for salary pts.
His appl was rejected.
Though there were other issues in his application , one reason pointed out was that the seal/stamp on ITR is in hindi !

In UP/Delhi-the IT dept seal is in hindi. I have confirmed -there is no other option !

how to tackle this ? I am told any attempt to get it re-attested would come under forgery. Also not sure if one can translate stamp details in english ?

This guy may be just unlucky-one of case. Also may be that when you apply for EC in India , they are more understanding to accomodate it as per home country.

Members if you can share your thought to handle such cases it would be of great help.

All,

Any thoughts on this ?

One approach which came in my mind is, to ask a professional CA translate the content of the ITR Return acknowledgement slip. There he can state all obvious things as per ITR and finally also confirm that this document is stamped by the Indian Tax Authority ?

I think this is kind of translation ?
