Can any one answer for my questions?
jagankumar wrote:Guys,
Since my approval letter expires by 3rd of Nov 2008, I have decided to go for fresh application EC application instead of wasting my time on admin review. But seriously what BHC expecting is ridiculous.

As they were expecting original bank generated running statements, normally(even in UK) that regular cycle statements will recieve only 10 days after the stmt cycle date.

no point is accusing bhc in forums, they were not gonna hear this neither will take action on this. so it is wise to apply for fresh application.

I have requested BHC to get back my original documents. I heard thru this forum that BHC will not return bak approval letter, for re-apply we need to submit photocopy of our approval letter. Also heard many guys got rejected coz of they provided photocopy of approval letter for thier re-application. Can you guys help me how to highlight in the application that we have provided photocopy of the approval letter since our original approval letter got stucked with BHC due to EC refused? do we need to provide covering letter for it? if yes can someone provide sample for it?
also in the application, they were asking whether ur application got refused for uk earlier, in this case do i need to mention this rejection?
please help me out, am planning to apply by next week. my approval letter expires by 3rd of Nov 2008.
One more clarification I got my approval letter dated 3rd May 2008. So when is exact last date that we can file our application? is it 3rd Nov 2008 or 2nd Nov 2008?

Need information abt maintenance funds.

Post by Hammad.Y » Thu Oct 23, 2008 12:54 pm

Hi, i need information about maintenance funds. The req for maintenance is that 2800 pounds mst be kept and maintained for 3months period prior to making an application. I did the same, and now I'm wishing to apply for PBS Tier1 but my confusion is that i maintained a sum of 2800 pounds in my two personal accounts(with Lloyds tsb and Abbey Bank) for 3months, but on 28 Aug i transferred all amount from Abbey Bank account to my Lloyds tsb Bank account through online banking. And now there is a gap of about 4 days, because the online transfers take 3 working days. Below is the sample taken from my personal accounts:

Transactions from personal account at Lloyds tsb Bank

Date Payment type Details Paid in(£) Paid out(£) Balance
(£)
28 Aug 08 DEP ELM PARK 175.00 2663.66 2663.66
01 Sep 08 BGC MR HAMMAD SAEED YA 447.00 3110.66 3110.66
03 Sep 08 DEP BROADWAY STRATFORD 100.00 3210.66 3210.66

Transactions from personal account at Abbey Bank
Date Description Money In Money Out £ Balance
05 Sep 08 BANK GIRO CREDIT REF TESCO 75.22 76.10
28 Aug 08 BILL PAYMENT TO Lloyds REFERENCE Hammad, MANDATE NO 0002 447.00 0.88
08 Aug 08 BANK GIRO CREDIT REF TESCO 95.74 447.88

Now on 28th of August I've a total of 2663.66 in my Lloyds account and the total balance of 3110.66 was showed in Lloyds statement on 1st of September, because of delay in online transfer. While infact, i had more than 2800pounds in my accounts. So will this be accepted in my 3months period, as i want to apply for visa.
Kindly reply soon.

I see you have pretty good knowledge about British visa. So would you like to answer my above query?

Though its advisable to show funds in 1 account this 3 day gap could be a issue since its reflected in the statements.

Unfortunately ECO/Integra will just go by whats in the statement
this 28th of August GBP 2663.66 transaction could have reset your clock of 90 Days(Bank A + B).

If you can try to getting a letter from your Banks stating you have maintained 2800 Minimum(Bank A+Bank B) for 90 days I think that would strengthen your case.

zaynab79,

Did they give any specific reason for rejection? I mean did they say was it because of the dates or the balance etc?

Does BHC accepts performance based BONUS as part of previous earnings? Tax was deducted on this BONUS.

Friends:

One thing more you told me that BHC accepts the bonus if it was mentioned on the salary slip. Let me explain you my case:

My company had deposited monthly salary of Aug in my bank account on 2nd sept. 2008 while performance based bonus was given to me on 23rd sept, 2008 and deposited on the same day in my bank account. In this case; should my company have to mention this bonus on my salary slip of Aug? Please note that both salary and bounus were deposited in my bank account separately. Please guide.

You must go for an admin review ASAP. And then let us know what happened.

Dear Hammad:

Its better to transfer this money into your PK account and then apply after 3 months. As per my information they will not accept your argument. Maintenance fund's statement should not be older than 7 days.

There is a work around. Why dont you give authority to any of your friend in UK and ask him to collect statement on your behalf and send it to you by FedX i think FedX takes less than 7 days to deliver docs in PK.

7 day rule!

Post by theroyale » Sat Nov 01, 2008 8:26 am

Hammad/Abdik:

I am in a similar situation as well. My bank account is in UK and I am now back in India. The problem with the banks in the UK is that they refuse to convey the statement to you personally/collecting from branch. I tried that myself the day before I left. They say that the ONLY way we can get the original statement is for them to post it to you. And that takes anywhere between 2-5 days from the date of the statement.

So even if you get a friend to collect it from your UK address and courier (next day DHL express), it is very tight.

Any suggestions from anybody much appreciated.

Bank letter

@abdik1980, @theroyale
Thanku for ur replies. I guess i'll have to contact my branch for this matter.
Hey guys, if i order a letter from bank confirming that i've maintained 2800 pounds in my bank for 3 months. So will this be acceptable, coz i guess the letter wouldn't take that much time.

Hammad:

Yes, this letter would be sufficient. Just make sure it also states that for the last 3 months the minimum maintained balance has been 2800 pounds.

Best of luck to you.

If this is the case, then you should go for an admin review immediately.
Another thing, about your bank statement, how old was that, amean u made an application on 15th, so what was your statements issue date. Coz i guess they don't accept bank statement more than 7 days old.

Did you provide your statements? Is it that they were not happy with the statements? Or have you provided them but fallen short of the required £2800?

If the former then get your statements sorted out and proceed. If, the latter and you actually have fallen short. Then why should you go for the admin review? You have failed to meet the basic requirement set by the UKBA!

Dear All,

I have confusing regarding about claiming the pervious earning. Currently I’m working with different employers at different country. So basically I’m physically present in S’pore (Mon - Fri) for the full time job and physically present in M’sia (Sat - Sun) for the part time job. S’pore full salary is credited to S’pore salary account and M’sia full salary is credited to M’sia salary account.

So question is can I uplift the salary which earns from M’sia, multiply by 2.3 and claim earning points from both salaries? Can anybody clarify this? Thanks a lot.

anyone out there applied through online?
i have a question regarding the maintenance fund, all applications submitted outside of the United Kingdom, all evidence must be dated no more than seven days before the application is submitted. However, what if i've got my immediate bank statement and applied through online to submit my visa application and schedule my appointment on 2 weeks later, will my maintenance fund evidence become invalid? Please HELP!! THANK YOU

Absolutely genuaine point. But who will listen to our concern?
I have observed over last one year that people catagorizable as "Investores" are taken as HSMP... what an irony coupled with ignorace by Home Office UK.
A 20 year skill-set is over shadowed by non-sense 2800GBP... !!
Economy meltdown! :D ... what else should be the other outcome of such decisions?

Would really like to hear an update about your case. Do let us know whenever you get a response to your review.

dear all.

would like to know from all people whose ex was rejected whether it is advisable to attach a copy of a letter/document which you had already attached with your original application. For instance, in my case, I had attached a letter from bank calrifying a few details which I feel like has been totally ignored by the eco. Can/should i attach a copy of this letter in the admin review just to stress the importance of this letter and pointing that it has been ignored. Will definitely mention that this is not a new piece of evidence but a copy of letter whose original was available in my original application.

anticipating quick replies. thanks in advance

KM

EC Refused - Tier 1 General Dependant

Post by Tier1Dependant_chennai » Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:42 pm

Hi there,

My entry clearance was refused with the below reason

"In view of fact that you have only submitted photocopies of your sponsors bank statement I am not satisfied that you have provided the documents specified to show that you are in possession of the required level of funds, as detailed in Appendix E of the Immigration rules

I therefore refuse your application under paragraph 319C(g) of the Immigration rules"

During my visit to VFS centre at Chennai, I had submitted original & photo copy of the bank statements. But, VFS officer who is received my application confirmed that the photo copy of the statement is sufficient and returned the original bank statement to me.

I have been provided with the AIT2 form along with the refusal letter.

I am going to send my AIT2 form to BHC, chennai.

What should be mention in the Grounds of your Appeal?

Is there any way I can get the fair treatment since I have been misguided by VFS?

Please advise. Thanks
