Is there a health requirement for the UK Tier 1 Investor Visa?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the principal applicant or his/her family must meet certain health requirements before being eligible for a Tier 1 Investor visa?

What do you mean 'health requirements'?

Some country nationals require TB tests. Nothing else required as far as I am aware.

Thanks for your reply. In some other countries like Australia or New Zealand, permanent residency is not possible if the applicant or his/her dependants is suffering from long-term illnesses that will burden the health system e.g. paralysis, autism. In other words, the visa applicant has to pass health requirements. This applies to investor visas as well. I was just wondering if the UK has a similar restriction- I can't seem to find it though.

There is no such requirement for the UK. Only TB test from certain countries.
