PBS Dependant of PSW

Dear Friends,

I would like to know that I want to become dependent on my wife who has a PSW till July 2014.

I am currently on a PSW which is expiring in February 2013.

I would like to know that whether I need to submit my wife's passport or visa as well with my application? This is because she is traveling during the time of my application.

Does she need to remain in UK during the time of application.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

No need to attach passport or visa, only copies would do. There aren't any restrictions on travel while your application is pending.

Are you aware that you cannot apply from within the UK?

You should submit a certified copy of her passport/residence permit.

Dear Friends,

I will be applying for a PSW dependent application soon.

I have spotted an error in my marriage certificate. My father's name is not complete in the Marriage certificate but is complete in my passport.

Does anyone know how sensitive issue it is. As I am still in the UK and have about 5 weeks to travel back to my home country for application, I may be able to request an amendment in my marriage certificate, but this depends on how important it is.

Any responses would be appreciated.

Shouldn't be an issue .... the marriage certificate is evidence of "your" marriage, not your father's name. As long as the names of the two who were married is accurate, you may use the certificate for your immigration application.
