hi when did you contacted MP? I mean how long it take after contacting the MP.

in my case it was matter of two days...it depends on your mp and her/his willingness to support your case...but definitely worth to contact!!!!

Further evidence asked - after biometrics

Post by ravi_zma » Thu Aug 30, 2012 3:04 pm

I applied for Tier 1 - PSW Visa on the 3rd April 2012 and got my biometric invitation letter on 23rd July 12. Submitted them on 27th July.

I thot that all is done, until I received an email on 23rd Aug 12 saying, "Thank you for your application, which is currently being considered. Please note that we have identified a minor omission with regards to the evidence that has been submitted.

We are therefore asking you to submit

· The name and address of your employer"

I emailed it to them the same day and they have then sent an postal mail to my employer on 28th Aug 12 asking what do I work as and how many hours do i do etc. My employer has emailed them on the same day I guess, but nothing since then.

I am worried and each moment is like a year to pass. Has anyone faced similar issue? Does anyone have an idea as in what are these guys up to?

Beware of Fraudsters

Post by 3April » Tue Sep 04, 2012 7:26 pm

I received a scam call a few days back from a person claiming it is from UKBA. Said I forgot to fill some form when I entered into UK. Sent a letter and as I did not respond the visa has expired and that it will be sent for deportation with 2000pound charge. I was then told that if I transfer 512 pounds thru' Western Union that all will be fine. I wish someone posts this on tier 1 post study visa on facebook as I don't want to show my identity. They did a good job till they mentioned western union money transfer

Guys watch out for the scam.

i need help and advice

Post by mk101 » Tue Sep 11, 2012 8:21 pm

my story

applied for student visa extension : oct 2011
application sent back as invalid (due to incomplete form)
then fresh application was refused: (went for appeal
judge allowed the appeal feb 2012
again ukba appealed against the decision: mar 2012
judge again gave the decision in my favour:

meanwhile i applied psw as my degree finished
ukba writes a letter asking for passport for previous application
solicitor replies
bio invitation: aug 2012
given biometrics : 3rd aug 2012

i dont know what will happen now...
1 year without job and extreme depression
i dont know what to do ..

any advice?
