Applied for 5 years PBS dependent but received decision till 31Dec2024

Hi,

We have applied for PBS dependent on the basis of primary Skilled worker visa which was granted for 5 years. Primary applicant received the decision for 5 years valid till 2026 in the mail received by home office but the BRP is valid till till 31 Dec 2024 but for the dependents that is not the case they received the valid stay till 31 Dec2024 in the email so now we are not clear even if we paid for 5 years IHS charges stay is granted 3 year 8 months so what do we need to do now?

Do we need to go for application review? or do we need to apply for extension after 31 Dec 2024 in that case what will happen to the IHS charges which we paid for 5 years?

Can anyone shred some light on this situation?

If your BRP expires on 31 December 2024
You do not need to tell UKVI if your BRP expires on 31 December 2024 but you have leave to stay longer.

UKVI will update their information on how to update your BRP in early 2024. You do not need to do anything and your immigration status will not be affected.

I had a look at it but in my case I received the email with the decision where it was mentioned that "You have been granted permission to stay in the UK as a dependent partner until 31 Dec 2024". where in for primary application it says granted permission till 25 Feb 2026 but the BRP vas issued till 31 Dec 2024.

So visa validity is different than primary visa holder hence the confusion, so the question here what will happen for dependents after 31st Dec 2024 , we need to file the extension ? if it needs to be extension what will happen to the IHS charges paid for 5 years.
