Hey everyone!
I've created a quick poll to kind of get an idea of where everyone is sitting in regards to points. This could be a really useful indicator of how many people are waiting so please go and choose your bracket.

Great idea mate. But can you please make changes to the options quickly like 50-50+,45-49.99,40-44.99,35-39.99,30-34.99 and so on..

That will give us more clarity because 45 pts alone makes a separate group.

I'm on 41 points and my RMLT just expired. I still really want to move to the UK but after applying 5 times my employer is tempted to give up on the whole thing. However I'm trying to convince them to re-run the market test and apply again in June. Do you think there is hope for 41 to go through in the summer months June-July?
If 45 goes through in May then there's definitely hope for 41 in June. If not then no chance.

Brilliant mate! This is a wonderful idea and a sensible one. But as you know, more people will not look into the forum now as the month's RCoS is out already. I would recommend you to post this poll on the May month's RCoS topic once it is out. That will garner more details to help the poll.

Even I am praying that 45-49,999 should get through this May. As most of the 50-54,999 K backlog has already been clear..

Did anybody notice all these months the cap hit was reported on news or linked in this month there hasn't been any, hope they update it soon and put some pressure on government. Probably many immigration firms are busy in handling windrush immigrants or kept busy with other things.

Thanks for the voting link. I am with 36points applying 1st time next for next month RCOS. Looks quite unlikely with current situation. My current visa is expiring on 1st July , so I have just 2 chances before it expires. Not sure if my firm would continue to support the application after 1st July.
Is it possible to work from a remote location just to keep my application active ?

I'm thinking of writing to the labour party website where you can submit your questions to Corbyn to be asked on the Wednesday question time to Theresa May. If a few of us write to them, with the current momentum on the faulty immigration legacy of TM, it might hit the spot. Has to well worded, strong and non-personal. Going to take the route of how the cut off is affecting the NHS and businesses hiring when TM keeps saying after brexit they want well skilled ppl (like us) to come to work to the UK. But the stupidity of her policy means we cant. Also making skilled employees to look elsewhere. Going to ask for shortage list to removed from the yearly allocation. atleast temporarily.

Anyone with me on this one?

Hi,
New to this forum. Question is bit naive, and I am sure the answer will be in some forum's archive. Will be applying for RCoS soon, so would like to check how the points are calculated for the following
- Non-shortage job (RMLT done) + Salary range
I found a document that mentions the points for salary till 49999. How are points awarded beyond this salary?
Thanks.

Hi,
I have 70 points in total:
RLMT - 30
Salary - 20
English -10
Maintenance - 10

I got RCoS assigned in March and I applied for visa in April(submitted on April 6th,2018). I have applied on priority but still awaiting decision. Any clues?

Thanks,
Raj,

I am not so hopeful considering up to 800-1000 people may be the backlog on 45. Maybe we could start a betting ring on what the cutoff in May will be.....I say 5/1 odds it is 45 or below.

Looking at the current situation hope they will set cutoff for may as 45 points or 42 points not less than that to clear the backlog .

But I would wish HO should make announcement to let employee and employer aware , we have these many backlogs so we are sponsoring only for the certificates with these minimum points (Not exact but a range of points they looking for allocation) will be succeeded before their allocation kick off at least for next three months . These make their job easy and we will also plan accordingly if our points not within their range.

But I am expecting too much I think :):) so let hope for the best are any miracles to happen to get through to extend my Stay in UK

as per the survey is it right to assume that the 45 to 50 range is the 46 to 50 range and the 40 to 44999 is the one that says 40 to 45 this can skew the results badly a repoll is required then

My HR said, the application has met minimum requirements but wasn’t lucky to be picked up from the lot allotted to NHS, for NHS, does it work this way.
