According to this internal Home Office document (Page 13 & 14), if a HO staff member is satisfied that an application is valid (before allocation), it will show as 'pending'. If it has not been proven valid, it will show as 'under review'. 38pt colleague non-everything still waiting, still 'pending'.

Finally got my rCoS after waiting 6 months. I am an nhs applicant, non-shortage. I got it with 29 points. Thanks for all the encouragement and support.

I submitted an FOI request to the Home Office about the process and time period of decisions. They said it was too costly to tell me the longest, or the average, waiting time for successful applications, but on the current process this is what they said:

"All applications received up to and including the 5th of each month that are not subject to checks will be considered on the 11th of that month. However, where the monthly panel is oversubscribed, officials must undertake checks on all valid applications to determine the points threshold, and which of the applications meet the points threshold for that monthly panel. Once the points threshold has been determined, all valid applications scoring above the points threshold will be granted. This can mean that applications cannot be immediately granted and that there may be a delay in the restricted certificate of sponsorship appearing in the sponsor’s SMS account. "

So I am hoping my 38pt colleague is valid, and just delayed... do you think it could be delayed beyond the end of the month?

my application with 32 has been rejected because my employer posted the job ad on Indeed instead of the government Find A Job website... I have got only 1 applicaion left in October before my current visa's expiration. stupid...

Yes, it was pending before that. From my research 'under review' at this stage in the month suggests your application has not yet been assessed as valid, but I am not an expert and I hope I am wrong. I'm sorry the wait is excruciating.

My status is “under review”.. hope to get some positive news very soon

What nonsense advertising in find a job site is mandatory. Is your employer BIG4? I think big 4 and the top companies ensure all these even before applying for RCOS they have their own team who approves all the details such as rlmt and post that they ll process the application.

Hi, thanks for your reply and thought. I hope the HO is not throwing a rejection after 5th which is too late to reapply for September allocation. As you mention above even it respond earlier that 5th, the application must be valid before 5th to be consider. There is really a myth what's going on while the status is 'under review'. Whether they need more documents or still no chance to review the documents. HR can do nothing, the closer to the 5th the lesser time HR can get ready for any unexpected.

no it's just a small local business... it's the first time for them to do these visa things and they're doing it without professional advice lol the excuse was "the guidance is 200 pages long!!"

Please find below reasons why few of applicants results did not come by 24th August 2018 in August Quota:

1.Your recruiter submitted required documents on last day of deadline after UK home office requested documents
2. Your recruiter has put start date as 3 months later it should be as early as possible
3. Your recruiter did not submit screenshot of Live advertisement as RLMT process when advertisement was Live.
4. Any other technical difficulties while filling SMS tool Tier2 application

Hi

RCoS rejected today on 37pts after submitted additional document on 9th Aug. The reason is No Contract with salary or hours to be worked per week was submitted.

HO do request additional document include this contract on 4th Aug, but after discuss with my adviser, we mention no applicable as the candidate is not in UK and not yet receive the work permit, how can we sign the contract with the candidate in this case?

Please any experience or granted application member advice that do you still provide this contract even the candidate is not in UK?

In most cases it's online based where they candidate accepts digitally that's considered as e signature.

Do you find the meaning of edited proof of the ad yet? Is that the documents submitted need to be pdf format that not able to edit?

Hi, I think it means that they should have taken screen shots of the advertisement but my employer used PDF files of the whole page, which I find a ridiculous reason for rejection to be honest.
