Hi everyone,

I applied as Sole representative of an overseas business. I got the approval letter and the Vignette on my passport on the 10th of October. I landed with my family on the 5th of November. I quarantined for the 2 weeks then went to post office, no BRPs. They told me there are some delays. I went again last week, nothing again. I wrote to https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/collect and last Thursday, no reply yet, only an automated message saying reply in 5 business days.

I have to travel in January and I can't without the BRP! Is this a trend these days? Its going to be 2 months from the letter soon!
I received approval letter on the 10th of October as well!

I have been chasing since the 24th of October. I have sent emails to BRP team, complaints team, UKVISETM. The only response was 1.5 weeks ago saying the enquiry is forwarded to caseworker. No more news...

Good luck! Hope you will get yours soon though as you have to travel.
I have received decision letter on 06th October and since last week of october chasing for BRP card. There is no response from BRP team. I alsohave sent emails to BRP team, complaints team, UKVISETM but not a single response. I am really getting worried. What should I do?
Hi, I received my BRP on the 4th of December.

Have you received any response from the BRP team? If you haven't it is worth trying UKVISETM again I think.

I got a successful decision on 14rd Dec but my BRP has not delivered yet - I think because of Xmas deliveries are delayed? There's no any way to track?

Hello everyone,

I read the post from the beginning to the end as I am in a similar position and I have not received my BRP for over 3 months since I arrived the country since September. It is a terrible experience. I just stumbled accross this post while browsing the internet for solutions.

As discussed by earlier contributors, I have contacted my MP today, I have filled in 2 BRP collection forms today on gov.uk. and I have also sent emails to:

1.) BRPOATECH@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
2.) BRPdelivery@homeoffice.gov.uk
3.) compalints@homeoffice@gov.uk
4.) WorkSponsored@homeoffice.gov.uk
5.) UKVISETM@homeoffice.gov.uk

I have also written a letter to BRP Deliveries and Collections, P.o. Box 195, bristol, BS20 1BT which I intend to post tomorrow.

I will also fill the BRP collection from 3 times tommorow and everyday till i get my BRP card because I am exhausted, desperate and tired of waiting.

I have filled the form about 4 times in the past and they responded with flimsy reasons.

I will keep updating everyone here on my progress and I wish others success too.

Hi everyone.
I have the same problems with BRP collecting and no answers and actions from the Home Office side.

I have got the Global Talent Art and Culture Migrant permission to be in the UK for 5 years. My husband has got the Global Talent Partner permission, the same period. The decision letters both are on 18 Nov 2020. Vignettes on our passports are valid for 3 months. We made applications outside the UK. The decision letter said we must collect BRP 10 days in the post office after arriving, but, if we are from a country that needs self-isolation, after 14 days of self-isolation. It was also said BRPs will be waiting for collection for 90 days instead of 10 days.

For this date (28 of Dec 2020) we couldn't get BRPs, because they did not arrive at the post office, it is 40 days after the decision letter. Without BRPs we can not do almost anything, no police registration, no permanent rent property, no opening a bank account, no being self-employed, and move to other places.

The timeline of actions we have already made is below. Still no answers and results, but maybe it will be helpful for someone as this topic was helpful for me. And I will update the status here then.
Overall I feel cheated. No public information about delays, no answers, no status, no even tracking number and name of delivery service…

Maybe we all should collect our requests and make a petition? Has anyone encountered a similar one?

And thanks to everyone who is writing here and sharing information and updates. It is really helpful.
Best,
Iryna

I have also similar problem. I have arrived at the UK on 25.10.2020. I am yet to receive BRP. I have visited post office 5 times and came back without having BRP. Every time, I wrote to home office but have not received a single rely from them still now. Without BRP, I can't open bank account. Does anyway know where and whom to contact?

I got a reply saying that I need to wait 20 working days to receive a reply instead of 5 working days. Am I the only one who go 20 days instead of 5 days.

I wrote an email to complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk. however there is no response from them yet. Please send me any other email address where I can escalate the issue.

Hi EveryOne,
I am also facing the same issue.
My wife and daughter have initially got the visas in the month of March-2020. However, they could not travel due to COVID-19. Then we got the replacement visas with 90 days vignette(expiring on 4th Jan-2021)and they have traveled from INDIA to UK on 30th Oct-2020. we went to collect the BRP's at the post office mentioned in the decision letter a couple of times but the BRP's are not available there. We have also filled the online form on 17th Nov-2020 under the (https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence- ... ot-arrived) and 22nd Dec again filled the form then got the reply saying

"Unfortunately, we are unable to deal with this type of enquiry as it is not a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) delivery issue.
However, we have redirected your enquiry to: https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/collect who will contact you as soon as possible.
The collections team will process your enquiry."

If any one of you got any other channels please share

Oh wow, so it's not just me! By the way, my visa vignette on my passport is valid till the 31st of January 2021, with multiple entry! Does anyone know if i can travel using the valid vignette before getting my BRP?
I would ask this as a separate topic in the forum.

I received a response today that the issue is now resolved and I should receive my BRP by next week.

Hope you will receive yours soon, too!

Regards
Congrats and thank you, hope so too!
I have finally received an email today:

Good Morning

Thank you for your email

Please be advised that the production of your BRP has been impacted by a technical issue.

We are aware of this issue and are working on a resolution.

You will be contacted in due course, please do not send a chaser email regarding this matter as there is no need to do so.

Thank you

I know some of you received such email and then got their BRP cards. Please let me know how soon did it take from receiving such an email to actually receiving your BRP cards?

Also, I checked with an immigration lawyer and he told me that I could travel as long as I come back while my multiple entry visa is still valid. I have to leave by the end of this week.

I hope I receive my BRP card by then.

Hi,

I sent a complaint here: www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/report-problem on the 7th of December 2020, then i sent a "20 day chaser" complaint on the 4th of January, as per the instruction on the email confirmation sent when complaint was filed.

I got the reply today on the 11th of January.

Yes reporting on this website www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/report-problem should help. You need to report every person separately.

Do the "20 day chaser" as per the instructions:

If you have not received a response from us after 20 working days and still have not received your BRP please complete the form again, following the instructions below:

At step 2 enter “Yes” and type “20 day chaser” into the free text box that pops up
At step 5 enter both your email address and a telephone number
This will ensure that we prioritise your case but only after we confirm that you have already waited at least 20 working days.

Hi all,

Congrats on those getting your BRP card, it must be such a relief.

Could I please know if you were required to show an ID to collect the BRP card from the courier? Or did they just leave it in the letter box?

Thanks,

Yaya
Hey Yaya, did you ever get response to your question? I was searching for same answer & you asked twice this question but didn't see anyone answer.
Hi All,

In my case, the BRP card is dropped at letterbox.
