Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your email.

This has been passed to the appropriate team who are aware and will contact you again in due course.

Statutory excuse for employers (Right to Work)

If your prospective employer needs assistance to establish a statutory excuse against the imposition of a civil penalty while the BRP is produced please ask them to contact the Employer Checking Service (ECS) via an E-form on gov.uk.

The E-form can be found at https://www.immigrationstatuscheck.serv ... employers/

Right to Rent

If your prospective Landlord needs assistance to establish a statutory excuse against the imposition of a civil penalty while the BRP is produced please ask them to contact the Landlords Checking Service (LCS) via an E-form on gov.uk.

The E-form can be found at https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ation.ofml

Kind regards,

When did you get your Visa approval email? Also, what all you did during this span. Asking as I have not received any response yet.

Hi,

I am one of the lucky ones that have had my BRP card delayed after receiving my approval letter for my ILR on April 22nd. I have reported to UKVI that it did not arrive with the online form. It says after 20 days fill the form in again. Is this 20 days from reporting it or 20 days from it not arriving?

Hi, I am on the same boat as you guys. I reported on the given link and they responded that they will respond in 40 working days. Is it a joke?? I got my letter on 19 Feb 2021 but I came to UK on 9th May, and I reported on the link twice but have not got any proper response.. Is there any mail I'd where I can raise the request. I am a student and I am not sure if I can go to MPs or any solicitor.

Please help me guys..

My card just turned up about a month after my decision letter with no shipping information or response from UKVI. I got an automatic reply from this address which you could try BRPdelivery@homeoffice.gov.uk and a later email saying it had been passed on to my case worker. Otherwise, there is not a lot you can do.

Hi,

In a similar situation. I had received approval letter in Oct 2020. Received the BRP with the wrong picture. Raised the issue. since then awaiting the correct BRP. It's almost 8 months now. Not received BRP so far.

I have raised multiple chasers at BRP not received online form.
Written to the MP
Written to UKVI
Written to the case worker at the address on the Home office letter
Emailed and written to the Home office complaints.
Today I have sent an email at brpoatech@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk after finding this address at this forum.

So far I have received the following response from the BRP team:

"Please be advised that there has been a technical issue with producing your BRP.
This has been passed to the appropriate team who are aware and will contact you again in due course.
Unfortunately, we do not yet have an estimated resolution time for this issue."

No clue when and how this is going to get resolved.

any suggestion please ?
Can one apply for naturalization without the BRP ??

I'm in a similar situation as well.

Husband submitted biometrics on 8th June and received a decision letter on 9th June. We have still not received the BRP. I've filled the online form to report this a couple of times, the solicitor did so as well. And I've sent an email to all the addresses shared on here (thank you!).
We'll send a letter to our MP tomorrow.
This is really frustrating as home office is not responsive at all.
Any more success stories from those waiting this year?

Relax. This is most likely due to BRP card production and distribution issues related to Covid. We are seeing newly designed BRP cards being issued recently.

Not sure that should be the cause for such delay. I applied only a day before my husband and received mine only 2 working days afterwards...

Hi all,

My husband received his approved letter 40 days ago, but never received the email saying that the BRP was on its way. He reported already in the system, but he received a message that they are taking 40 Working days to verify! This is an absurd!
Someone else in the same situation?

Yeah, me! Today is 50 days since my husband's approval letter and the BRP just got delivered. No email with tracking or anything. Delivery guy just showed up.

After the 10 working days after the decision letter, I filled the form twice and asked my solicitor to escalate. We got that 40 working days response. Sent emails to a couple of addresses shared on this thread and someone got back from the BRP delivery team to say it's being looked at by a case worker. Then the email for complaints to UKVI responded saying there's a technical issue on 26th July. Today, my MP got back saying she's rang the UKVI/home office and they have confirmed that there is a technical issue but they cannot confirm when this will be resolved. She was super helpful saying she's placed an urgent query to have them expedite the process to have it issued. Response time from the Home Office to the MP takes 20 days fyi.

Looking at the BRP, the date of issue was 23rd July. The decision letter was on 9th June. Seems like whoever was sending emails from the UKVI complaints team or the MP's contact really had no clue what was happening to his BRP because even after the issue date, everyone kept saying the card hadn't been issued for to technical issues. Sigh. This makes it hard for me to advise anyone else on what to do.

Loop in your MP and fill the form a couple of times as well as email the addresses shared on here. Something definitely worked. Not sure what, I'm afraid.

Hi all,
I was in a similar situation, and this conversation was really helpful. So I thought to share my experience with the home office HO.
I applied for a dependent visa for my daughter in 29/6/21 and then in 14/7 I received an email form HO saying the application was successful and I should receive the BRP with 7 days. I waited 10 days and nothing arrived then I filled in the link for not receiving BRP.
I received an automated email form HO says we’r experiencing larg amount of request and it could take 40 working days to get back to you!!
Then I emailed the brp delivery team and they got back to me in 20 mins saying we can’t do anything and we have told the department about it and a caseworker on it!

Than I decided to wait since there is no much left to do. Then all of sudden I received an email from HO in 18/8 saying you will receive the brp in the next 48 hrs, it was sent with a courier and they will contact you with 24 hrs . The flowing day TNT sent me an email that brp on the way (8am-8pm thing) and at 9:20am someone called me to open receive the brp (finally in my hand 🖐🏻).

In short, the decision took 14 days after I made the application. The brp arrived after about 5 weeks from the decision letter.
It is so stressful that there is no tracking number.

By the way the date of issuing on the brp is 16/8 witch means all the delay was from the brp department, not the TNT
I hope all of you who are waiting for their brp to receive them soon

Hi all,

I am in a similar situation with my wife's visa as well. It got approved on the 30/08/2021 and after 10 working days I filled in the BRP not received form and got the automated 40 days email. Yesterday 14/09/2021 got email from BRP delivery team that it has been assigned to case worker for review and not to contact the BRP delivery team.
1. Anything I can do to expedite this? Will contact MP next week if still not received.
2. Anyone else facing a similar issue recently (Aug/Sep approval email dates)?
3. Anyone who got the BRP delivered on time within 10 working days for PBS applications (Aug/Sep approval email dates)? I could only see 1 BRP received in Aug in the Tier 2 in country timeline thread.

Hi All,

We have a similar situation.

My wife dependent visa applied through priority visa service. Got visa approval mail on 7th September from HO & till now we didn't hear any thing about BRP delivery. Reported same online today & received an automated email form HO says we are experiencing large amount of request and it could take 40 working days to get back to you!

We have travelling planned on October 9th is there any way to expediate this?

No doubts Covid was biggest mess but as i am in public service job so i now how lots of my colleagues have misused work from home opportunity. Now get out and go to work to clear your mess seriously

My spouse is having the same issue with her dependent Visa. I changed employer and applied for a Skilled Worker Visa (with Priority Service). Me, my spouse and our son received confirmation that our visas were approved on 23 September 2021.

My son and I received our BRPs on 6 October 2021, but my spouse has not. We submitted the enquiry online after 10 days (7 Oct), and received the email 4 days later (11 Oct) to inform us our enquiry has been passed to our caseworker and the Delivery team is unable to assist further.

Like everyone us, we are infuriated by this, especially when we paid for priority service.

I am in the same situation. Got decission on 20th Sep and then after 10 days received mine and Child's BRP. Wife's BRP is still missing. Raised issue on the link post 10 working days and got SLA of 40 working days. I have a plan to travel next month. Not sure what to do.
It seems like a endless wait. Day start with a hope that today will receive the some communication from the HO but nothing comes and it always a disappointment.
Can anyone suggest what can be done other than just waiting please. ?

Like a few others I have also not yet received my BRP after approval on the 15th September while the rest of my family received their BRPs on the 17th September.

They seem to be having an issue with processing BRPs for all the family members at once! I've filled in the form, had a response that it was assigned to a case worker but nothing from them since that was recieved on the 6th October.

I've emailed BRPOATECH@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk with no response.

Next step is to raise a complaint and contact the MP - this situation is ridiculous!

Hi - no nothing from the home office - I've sent them a complaint email today, and also emailed my MP, but nothing back from anyone and still no BRP.

I have travel booked over Christmas (a reschedule from during covid-restrictions) and I really don't want to have to cancel it, as I'll lose out on a lot of money now. Going to the british consulate and applying for a temporary one is not an option, as we are only away for 7 days.

I have previously travelled without my BRP (as it was with the DVLA and I didn't realise it was a must). We were detained for an hour or so while they checked into it. I don't want that to happen again, becuase we're due to arrive back in UK on Christmas day and also I'm not sure if there will be a mark against my name for already entering without BRP once, and don't want to have any problems later down the track when we want to apply for ILR

Almost experiencing similar situation here.
Today is almost 10th day since I have received the notification of approval.
But no update on the BRP yet.
Reading through this forum called TNT/FedEx today to check if they anything delivered to my postcode.
The executive said that there is nothing they have for the postcode.
And also mentioned that the Home office has a big backlog and that clearance is taking time.
Tomorrow would be reporting on the Home office website using the "report now" link.

Anyone recently who has received the BRP within 10 days?

Thanks
