Hello, My partner visa was approved on July this year and I traveled to UK this september, on my application form it states that I can collect my BRP card within 10 days of arrival in the UK, at the post office. I have not received the BRP yet even though it’s been more than a month since I arrive. I’m really concerned

We are having the same problem. We received approval on September 24. We filled the form after 10 days as stated in the email. Then the BRP Delivery Team confirmed what they had forwarded to our caseworker. We haven't heard anything since then. We sent the form several more times, also contacted our local MP, not sure if this will make a difference.

We don't know what's wrong with our case. Some people get their BRP cards without any problem. People like us randomly wait for months to get their BRP. And nobody says anything about what's wrong. I think we deserve an explanation from the government we pay fat taxes.

Hi Everyone

I am in the same situation.
Applied for wife's ILR on 1st May, received decision on 9th October but so far no BRP.
Tried to contact BRP delivery team through website link provided but they mentioned it is not a delivery issue.
Called the homeoffice number but the person had no information and asked to report thorugh website again which i did last week but still no update.

Is there any other way to contact them, can someone share an email id please.

Kind Regards,

I had similar situation with other members, my husband and I applied for extension of skilled worker and dependant partner at the same time within UK.We both received decision letter on 23rd of September. My husband received his BRP in few days time after that, but I with dependant visa did not get my BRP for 36 days.

After 10 working days we reported it on gov website, after received mail that they assigned caseworker(received mail on 15th of October). On 25th of October I wrote mails mentioned in this forum:BRP delivery, BRPoatech, complaints and to our MP.
Immediately received mail from BRP delivery as others in this form that " This is an automated response. Please read it carefully. At the moment we are receiving a very high volume of enquiries and as a result, we are not able to respond within our published timeframes." MP team also immediately asked for all the details and said they will escalate it(can not confirm if they did it or not).

Then I just waited, and on 28th of October in the evening I received mail from BRPdelivery that my BRP issued on 25th of October and they are sending me TNT tracking code. After that I received it in few days.So I do not know if my mails helped, if it was escalated by MP (but I suggest you to write them)or it was under check of caseworker who solved it(my BRP actually shows issue date on 21st not 25th).I hope it will be solved for you all soon.

can anyone kindly share any contact number or email for home office to follow up on this issue.
I tried to call the number they mentioned on the website but the person has no clue.

just to update i sent another online query about BRP not received and got the same reply as before which is that they have forwarded my request to caseworker but caseworker never responds.

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Hello - Did you got anything further on your case ? Any communication from Home Office. ?
Hi - no nothing from the home office - I've sent them a complaint email today, and also emailed my MP, but nothing back from anyone and still no BRP.

I have travel booked over Christmas (a reschedule from during covid-restrictions) and I really don't want to have to cancel it, as I'll lose out on a lot of money now. Going to the british consulate and applying for a temporary one is not an option, as we are only away for 7 days.

I have previously travelled without my BRP (as it was with the DVLA and I didn't realise it was a must). We were detained for an hour or so while they checked into it. I don't want that to happen again, becuase we're due to arrive back in UK on Christmas day and also I'm not sure if there will be a mark against my name for already entering without BRP once, and don't want to have any problems later down the track when we want to apply for ILR

Hi all,

My spouse finally received her BRP.

As suggested by most users on this board, we emailed BRPOATech@homeoffice.gov.uk on 17 October. We received a response from this team on the 29 October that my spouse's BRP was produced, and received the BRP this week on 1 November.

Good luck everyone, that email address really helped!

My spouse is having the same issue with her dependent Visa. I changed employer and applied for a Skilled Worker Visa (with Priority Service). Me, my spouse and our son received confirmation that our visas were approved on 23 September 2021.

My son and I received our BRPs on 6 October 2021, but my spouse has not. We submitted the enquiry online after 10 days (7 Oct), and received the email 4 days later (11 Oct) to inform us our enquiry has been passed to our caseworker and the Delivery team is unable to assist further.

Like everyone us, we are infuriated by this, especially when we paid for priority service.

We received the BRP card today after waiting for almost 50 days. We sent email to the email addresses shared in this thread. Also asked our local MP for help.

I also found the following on Google while waiting the BRP
Hope that it helps to someone

It is very strange that in the list of reasons given for BRPs not being delivered, the performance of FedEx/TNT is not one of the main causes.

Surely they are having problems finding drivers and have a large backlog that cannot be cleared everyday and then that causes delays. The reviews in trustpilot for TNT seem to indicate a widespread pattern of failure to deliver.

According to TNT tracking our BRP was supposed to be delivered on the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15h, 16th, 17th, 18th and today it says it will be delivered on the 19th.

It is very frustrating, you have to wait they whole day 8AM-8PM and then it does not arrive, it will next day, rinse and repeat.

Hi There,
my wife and kid BRP card not delivered yet.
They got application successful email on 27th Aug and they didn't receive BRP even after 10 Working days.
Then i reported the same on Sept 10th and didn't get any reply after 5 working days. again i Reported the same yesterday and today i got email from BRP Delivery team saying "We are unable to deal with this type of enquiry as it is not a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) delivery issue"
i had no clue what so ever happening. I called Home office and explained the situation and they are saying it might a technical issue and asking me to write letter to Home office :( .
Any suggestions please?

Thank you,
Santhosh

Hello Experts
I am writing this email to seek your help and understand different ways of travelling to my home country without BRP. Please read my concern below and help me accordingly.

- I applied for my UK full license on 2nd feb and with the provisional license I sent my passing certificate and BRP card to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BN.
- Now, it's more than 2 weeks now and I haven't received my license and BRP back from them. When I spoke to one of the executives from DVLA to cancel my application, they refused to cancel my application and refused to send my BRP back.
- I have a flight on 23rd Feb to travel to my home country (India) and I really need my BRP to travel. Also, I cannot postpone my flight due to family issues and urgency.
- Now, I request you to please help me in understanding if DVLA won't return my BRP back in time then how can I travel from UK to India and India to UK.?
- I see there is an option to show an employer's letter to right to work in the UK and wanted to check if that letter can be an alternative to BRP at immigration desk.?

Thanks in advance..!!
