Can I work for ICT2 sponsored employer after changing my VISA to PBS dependant

Hi,
Currently I am having Tier 2 ICT VISA and it expires on Jun 2020 and my wife is staying in UK as my dependent. She is planning to do her master by changing her VISA to tier 4. I have a query on this.
Can i change my VISA type to Tier 4 dependent and work for the same employer who sponsored me TIER 2 ICT Or Do i need to resign with current employer and then only i can change to VISA type ?

Yes, if your wifes' course and student visa permits dependents. You also need to only inform your employer AFTER you have changed visa category. Whether your employer chooses to keep you employed, is up to them completely.
