Can Skilled Worker visa be refused due to overstay in another country?

Post by godilovegummyworms » Sat Nov 27, 2021 5:03 pm

I overstayed by 4 months in Australia when I was on a working holiday visa back in 2016.

I have been to the UK since then on a visa-free entry and abided by the immigration laws although I did have to get exceptional assurance to stay 4 months longer due to travel bans.

I have read the guidance for rejecting applications due to overstays in the UK, but I can't find any guidance about rejecting applications due to overstays in other countries.

Am I probably going to be okay or should I be concerned?

I did declare it on my application, I am just worried.
