Can your employer report any thing negative about your Tier 2 Employement to UKBA.
You have resigned and they can report any negitive to UKBA which can cause getting new Tier 2 Visa

Your employer is only obligated to inform HO that you have left their employment AFTER you have finished your last day.

Unless you have done something really serious, they do not inform HO of reasons etc.

On 10th Jan 2018, the rule has changed that for employement gap between two tier 2 visas for more than 60 days will not be considered as break for applying for ILR, this means that the UKBA will not send any curtailment letter and will straight away terminate the leave after receiving the notice to 60 days.

You have misunderstood the January rule changes completely.

60 day employment gap is completely separate and different to the 60 days curtailment letter.

As CR001 mentioned, both are different.
1. 60 days employment gap was important when you apply for ILR which is now ruled out.
2. 60 days curtailment letter is when HO decides to curtail (or shorten) your VISA due to whatever reason (e.g. company license revoked or expired etc. )
