Child born in the UK to Tier 2 worker

Post by karan270 » Sun Apr 18, 2021 12:37 pm

Goodday, do you have any idea of children born to parents who are health care workers. Since IHS has been scrapped for these categories do children qualifies for NHS after 3months or still need to apply for tier 2 dependent visa?

Since Im bound to apply for ILR next year, do not plan to leave the country for any travel, I have understood I do not need to apply for the child’s Indian passport / visa.

Don't confuse the IHS payment for visas to the use of free NHS. They are two completely separately things.

If you do not apply for a visa for the child, you risk being charge 150% of NHS cost after 3 months.
