COS Notes update and Application - URGENT Please

Hello,

I got a COS based on which i applied for a Skilled worker VISA. however UKVI contacted my employer stating that the salary is not right and its is very less. My exmployer was kind enough to update the cos with the right salary. He even contacted me and sent me an updated offer letter.

now I am having 2 questions
1) after the COS is updated with a note - do we need to apply again ?
2) after the COS is updated will my application priority change ? since i had taken a 5 days service, i have not received the result as well as the BRP yet ?
my previous VISA has expired and i am waiting anxiously for the new visa and i am not able to bear this stress.
