Delay in decision

Post by mjkiajy2 » Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:44 am

Hi,

I have submitted my visa application online on 15/07/2021 and went to visa centre for biometric information collection on 21/07/2021. Up till now, I have not received any updates. It has been more than 8 weeks since the online application. Is there any way I can ask for updates or speed it up?

Kind regards,

Janet

Did you use the standard service or the priority service?

Quite odd. I know people got their visa approval who completed biometrics on 9th Aug using standard service. Dont know how UKVI is managing visa approvals.

I used standard service. I know a lot of people applied later than me, all got decision back. I have also contacted home office on phone no 03007906268, but they all said I have just need to wait

May I kindly request everyone to post your experience in the corresponding topic referred to application timelines?

In-country Tier 2 application timelines

Out-of-country Tier 2 application timelines

It would help other applicants on what to expect from these Standard, Priority or Super-priority services in the current situation.
