That's wrong assumption.

46 points is possible.

Remember there is a clause, Milk-round under RLMT which given them 30 point instead of 20

Milk-Round + 36K salaray= 30+16=46 point

Hopefully, this clears
That's clear and make sense. Thank you.
for example my case RLMT is 20 and salary is 48K then points are 20+28 = 48 is that correct?
Yes, that is correct. Your score is 48 in this case. Did you receive any update? from HO

If you did not score enough points, the statement should read the following;

Thank you for your recent email regarding the restricted certificate of sponsorship (RCoS) application for the post of Corporate Account Manager– salary - £33,800 per annum. The RCoS allocation for January 2018 was again oversubscribed. All applications scoring points below the threshold were refused. Your application scored 33 points which was below the points threshold for January and was therefore refused. The points threshold for January was 46 points. All details of the January allocation are now available on our website. Please follow the link below:

JANUARY REFUSAl above:

If you’re REJECTED you did not meet the RMLT requirements is my understanding?
I don't know how you got an email with this format.

What I get is:
Thank you for your recent application for restricted CoS. Your application has been refused, as it did not meet the minimum points score for the allocation of a restricted CoS on the above decision date.

This application will not be submitted for consideration at the next monthly allocation of restricted CoS.

You can submit another application for a restricted CoS at any time.

That was a follow up email when we had asked for more clarification about points. I was just pointing out clarification for the ‘refusal’ statement wording.
I have no idea how to follow up. Can you please share the email address of the HO on which we can follow up? Thanks.

Here's what they've said and the email we used:

"
Thank you for your recent application for restricted CoS. Your application has been refused, as it did not meet the minimum points score for the allocation of a restricted CoS on the above decision date.

This application will not be submitted for consideration at the next monthly allocation of restricted CoS.

You can submit another application for a restricted CoS at any time. You must ensure that your application meets the criteria outlined in the sponsor policy guidance, available from the link below, before submitting the application:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -employers

If you have any queries not addressed in the policy guidance, please contact us at:

I got refused for a 3rd time. Points were 33 (20 for RMLT + 13 for salary) :(
Employer is willing to do a new RMLT because our current RMLT expires in March.. hoping that April will be successful

Feeling hugely disappointed not only for me though it's my first attempt for those who have been rejected 3 times in a row, I wish them peace. What worries me is March we have no chance. Hope HO takes a decision on next cycle from April on the backlog and change in quota rules by allowing more allocations or exempting SOC jobs from the quota

Otherwise the UK business will struggle badly as they have not hired people below 46k from Decemeber it might go till March so it will have a big impact.

I think it's fair to say the points didn't change much this month. This is worrying because it is suspected that February had more allocation than other months. March is pretty much a write off as there is such a small amount of spots for the month.

I have 31 points and I don't even see much hope in April unless some policy changes. I don't have much hope in governmental changes however because these policies and rules take more than a month or two to change. I do continue to live in limbo and hope for the best. My life has been turned upside down from this and there is a good chance I will lose my friends, boyfriend, job, life, flat ect. because of this.

Congrats!!! Ashishkm

Just got information from my Employer that my RCOS is rejected again this month, reason being Home Office reached their quota for approving certificates in the month of February due to a backlog of applications from the previous month.

Good luck all who are waiting for approvals yet.
