How early can I apply for Tier 2 dependent extension?

Dear all,

I'm about the extend my Tier 2 (General) dependent Visa. When I extended it last time in 2018, my husband had ILR (following the 5 year Tier 2 to ILR route), and now he has British citizenship. I'm not sure whether I should fill in the BRP number of his last Tier 2 visa or his ILR on the application form.

The questions are as follows:

1. Which visa or permission of stay has xxx (my husbands' name) applied for or been granted?
Answer: Tier 2 (General) leave to remain.
2. Do you have one of these home office reference numbers for xxx?
Answer: Yes, I have their BRP number.
3. BRP number.
I'm stuck on this one. Should I fill in the BRP number of his last Tier 2 visa or his ILR here?

The expiry date of my Tier 2 dependent visa is 21 Sep 2021.

1. Can I apply for an extension now? How early can I apply for it?
2. Is the date of the application the day I submit the application form online or the day of my appointment?
3. Should my bank statements be dated within 28 days of the day I submit my application online or the day of my appointment?

It doesn't matter which one you fill in.

1. Yes. Regardless of when you apply, it will be a 3 year extension from date of decision.
2. Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not the appointment date.
3. Online submission date.
