How to identify the CoS is defined or Undefined?

I am in India and I have an offer letter from UK employer. They had raised a allocation request for CoS to the Home office last week and today they get to know that they have applied for wrong type of CoS after reaching out to Home office to check the status and mention that it is corrected now and request will be processed in next 15 days. My question is below,
1. How to check the CoS is defined or Undefined once it is issued?
2. Will it really take 15 days to get Defined CoS or even more than that?

Not sure if things have changed in the last few years, but apart from asking your employer there is probably no way to know. They should see it in the SMS system if it's defined or undefined.

Not sure about timelines, sorry. Someone else may be able to answer that.
