Switching from student tier 4. Note that my application seemed to have taken longer than usual (15 days). I counted 40 priority postal applications in this thread, and had only 5-6 come up to take 15 days or longer, with 2 of them being over Christmas time.

Main applicant and 2 dependents, extending Tier 2 General visa (it took almost 2 months). Home office sent a letter around 20-06-2018 as additional funds were needed (COS stated that the job role is on shortage occupation list, Home office claims the description changed, and even though the code is correct, it doesn't qualify for the reduced fee costs), which were deducted a week after an email was sent with all the details.

If had changed the time backwards, I would definitely go for priority postal no matter what.
