Received confirmation of acceptance from HO on 27 July 2011. (NOTE: the letter was issued on 22 July 2011.)

5. Payment mode: Unknown as paid by employer.
Received Bio-metrics invitation letter 28 July 2011 (Note: letter was dated on 26 July 2011.).
Bio-metrics completed 8 August 2011
6. Date leave to remain valid from: Bio-metric card issued on 25 Aug 2011 (valid until 29 July 2013)
7. Date passport received: 31 August Along with passport.
8. Received letter confirming extension on 31 August 2011 (Although the letter was dated 25 August 2011).

21/12/2011: It has been 4 weeks today and I have not received my passports. This is really frustrating. There is no update on UKBA website as well. I have an emergency in India but unable to travel.
06/01/2012: Finally got them. I think I would have got them earlier if not for the holiday season. Anyway for all the bloggers on the forum, please do not book any travel till you get the passports
